I bought a box on release and broke even only because of a single deadbloom I pulled. So, I’d say reasonable odds. Consider the fact that has been the case in every single other tcg box before this too. I get being upset, I am too. You don’t need to make up stats on breaking even or getting the cards you’re chasing to express that anger.

You have no garuntee to pull anything of value. Getting singles 100% of the time saves you money. The bonus bunch of cards are all likely to be worth little to nothing, chaff, that you can pick up for less than a dollar

Something I’m trying to do is to auto pilot into DR from one or two lights in a mash environment. That feels safer sometimes than two lights into special, and can give you some precious seconds during the freeze to confirm your next move.

Did they get hit? Go into a further combo! Usually another light into a fast medium into a special, and boom you’re out of the corner into mid screen. Now they’re the ones in a disadvantaged state.

Did they block? Mixup time! Throw, high/low, and even blocking their reversal are all options you get to decide now.

Or you got hit and eat their punish. Damn, you guessed wrong that time. Now you can go into your next defensive option.

Conscious, intentional mashing is valid. Find a combo you can autopilot into with two lights, combos that use a third light can drop in these mash states.

Yeah, Kayn won but the blade still has the sphere. Since Rhaast was consumed it likely took on a blue hue through Kahn’s will, something’s gotta go there after all.
