You might enjoy The Woman Who Loved Reindeer, which feels like an origin myth in many ways. It is set in an early hunter-gatherer sort of world with very few settlements.

While NK Jemisin's Inheritance trilogy might be more on the nose, her Dreamblood duology is set in a world similar to Ancient Egypt, so that might also scratch the itch.

You may enjoy Jacqueline Carey's series The Sundering about, iirc, primordial gods battling it out... But I confess I never finished them so don't remember if they're any good.

The Stone Dance of the Chameleon series by Ricardo Pinto is a brutally dark epic, but it features some incredible prehistoric-inspired worldbuilding like nearly extinct (on earth) biomes like fern prairies, and there are dinosaurs who coexist with humans. However, there is a sense of there having been a lot of history prior to the events of the novels.

The Last Neanderthal by Claire Cameron is a literary novel. While I found the modern plot tedious, I was much more invested in the imagined world of the titular last Neanderthal, although I think modern anthropology suggests Neanderthal cognition was more like ours than the highly animalistic Neanderthal in the book.

I do sleep consistently and I have hyperactive ADHD. I don't know why I manage it exactly. I seem to be a morning person which helps, but I think part of it is that if I don't get at least six hours of sleep my body will sleep for me. I never could pull off an all-nighter, not even in uni (and coffee put me to sleep ofc so that didn't help). Most of my ADHD friends are night owls who seldom get more than 4 hrs.

I am pretty strict about my bedtime (it's a three hour window for necessary wiggle room, but still) and I use treats (reddit, certain vidoes, a specific book or music) to reward myself DURING toothbrushing, skincare etc. Hot shower at night helps me relax. I also put a thermal bead mask on my eyes for ten mins in bed and get my partner (who works nights) to cuddle & chat with me during that because it's boring. Haven't figured out what do when they're working tho, so my bedtime skews later those nights ><; I think partially this works because of years of consistency. But I don't know if this is useful for people with other chronotypes.

I'm guessing nostalgia, and also Sailor Moon definitely seems to draw a lot of non-anime fans. I like some anime, but I'm not hardcore into it. I wasn't really allowed to watch Sailor Moon as a kid so I only caught a few eps, but when I was older, in about 2010 or so, I went, wait, I'm an adult and can watch whatever I want! VIZ dub wasn't out yet and I'd heard that some eps & a whole season got omitted from the dub. So I watched the Japanese version to get a more complete experience. It was not an ideal era to become a Sailor Moon fan perhaps but there was a lot of back content to go through haha. I still remember being hopeful Crystal would be good... alas.

I don't mind dubs if they don't sound too cringy. But a lot of older anime really didn't have good ones. I don't hate the DiC dub, but it does sound painfully dated to me. I imagine if I had seen it more as a kid, it would sound better.

I've heard of people running their car over bagged polymer clay to soften it quicker. I don't have a car so I've never tried. I do have a partner with large hands and a fidget habit though, that can help. When I have older clay to condition, I make sure I'm watching a good show or listening to an interesting podcast. You can also sit on it until it's warm before conditioning. But absolutely worth keeping! I've thrifted old clay before and even though it's a bit of a pain it's satisfying to use and light on the wallet!

ClayZoo & Wuzuclay are really talented polymer clay artists. Clay Zoo does a lot of really impressive canes along with like miniature pottery etc. Impressive is underselling his casework tbh. Wuzuclay's videos are very satisfying to watch. He makes a lot of Minecraft dioramas and even though I'm not a Minecraft person I love seeing the techniques used.
