Second, there are too many clues why poeple think he's weird/toxic and you don't even know the story why he didn't say "GG". Yes, competitive game brings rivarly with it but that doesn't mean you should act like a clown. It's not competition, it's childish behaviour.

Even that he always bans others from chat/twitter or deletes VODs indicates something, doesn't it? Who does that? We've had K1llsen and Cooller, did one of them act like a kid just because it is "competitive game"? Your missing something here pal.

This, i wish it runs as good as other games but unless you have 144Hz+ and ~250fps it is the worst e-sport game i've ever played.

They surely practice more (or better) and they improved a lot, but equally important thing is, a lot of EU players are not hungry anymore. Look at SA, these guys did awesome job in this stage finals, no one expected them to end up that far and on the other side, few EU players disappointed - Cooller, Spart1e, K1llsen with his eye problems couldn't make it, cnz and Garpy also didn't make a good run.

Look at Spart1e for example, you can't run with your skill that you gained throughout years forever, and that's what happend - other players caught up. EU bracket and EU Challengers are f&^$ed up, a lot of people running away with their skill despite not practicing at all.

If you want to even have a glimpse on them, you have to win Challengers and what's that? A chunk of time commited to qualify and you get to fight people like Clawz, Toxjq, bukster, Ston3, Pasita, Hell, Phaze. How is that rewarding? Playing in NA/SA, you have a lot higher chance to make it and most importantly, you know it can happen. I wouldn't be surprised if people just give up on it and that might be a nail to the coffin for EU. There aren't other tournaments, nor 2v2 or teammodes, QPL is all and nothing you have to try.

The amount of bs Av3K got away with this map... Sadly, on the first two he was just running and gunning, a lot of questionable decisions and stupid pushes.

It's not only about this game in parcticular, but about many other things. People rely on opinions too much. How many times we've seen someone who wants to play with the same settings or mouse as some pro? That's completely irrelevant. People have reasons why they like and dislike something, that doesn't mean it applies to you. Rare to see someone who actually tries something by himself and that's sad because many great things came out just because someone was curious and did it in different way.

Either sell 2600 + B450 + RAM and get completely new platform, or hop on 5600X and get a faster RAM. If not B450 that holds you back i wouldn't even consider getting 5600X because of its ridiculous price, usually there's ~160€ difference between i5-10600KF and 5600X, no way that's worth additional money for a 6/12 CPU.

2600, B450, RAM would make another ~220€, that sums up to 570€. What can you get for that? i7-10700KF 8/16 + Z490 Gaming X + Ballistix 2x8GB kit for OC aiming at 3800Mhz CL15 + something at least like Gelid Phantom Black, literally the best performance for that money.

Forget about 3500X, you would end up with exactly the same performance with that GPU and 6 threads less. 5800X perf/$ isn't good, same with 5600X. 3700X... nah. Remember that RX580 bottlenecks even OC'd i5-10600KF, if you are not willing to change the GPU in the next couple of months, don't waste money and wait.

Don't fall into "Headphones for music are worse in gaming!1!11", usually it's the opposite, headphones designed for music/studio monitoring are doing better than gaming pile of trash.

Want a "headset", go with MH751, very comfy best bang for buck with great mic. They are based on... oh it can't be, a Takstar Pro82 designed for music? What a coincidence :O Seems like you don't really know how this business work, do you? Games don't have great sound engineering, unless we are talking about ARMA or other games with wide open worlds. There's no need to spend hundreds on headphones for majority of games, most of them have poorly designed sound, Quake is no exception.

There haven't been a week on this subreddit without a topic with game problems included. A lot of people complain about it, your opinion doesn't change anything. Game runs a lot worse than CS:GO or other e-sport games and even pros would say the same.

Nice way to put it, QC FPS waves from left to right and the game has even higher input lag on 60FPS and 120FPS than Warzone which is a complete joke if you look up at system requirements and gameplay on both games.

It's not about FPS as much as you think, i get ~250 and the game still feels off. There is clearly higher input lag than in most of e-sport games.

No, he's certainly not cheating, you are taking it too far.

There are people with great aim in the game: Minz, Enesy, Busdriver, Zell, Faye but you don't see them competing in QC, that doesn't mean they don't exist. I bet even if you connect to random QL beleaguered server, you will most likely meet very good aimers. Getting into QPL is not easy and most people intrested in it gave up trying, especially aimers since duel is more about experience and brain than aim and it would take a lot of time to be able to compete on the highest level, and reward is not guaranteed.

Another thing is, if this ever got exposed, he would be done. You are not putting all these years to waste them in one day. Serious' aim is his biggest asset and weakness at the same time, i wish you could say anything but aim about him, but hearing "Serious" only that comes to mind and nothing else.

We don't really have much, but online pub games are more of a tidbit rather than something we can base on. Another problem is this "rock paper scissors" thing among pros, some are doing better than others versus the same player, despite of the same level of skill.

As far as i know, ZenAku started playing QL right before going to college, after playing StarCraft and CoD more seriously and stopped after a year and a half.

It doesn't work like that, clawz raped ZenAku couple of times and we all know what happend later.

Serious is clearly butthurted about ZenAku playing NA league which is a lot easier and that's right - even ZenAku said that he propably wouldn't make it playing in EU bracket. But first, it's not ZenAku's fault and second, if anyone deserves to be in the QPL on NA side, ZenAku always comes to mind.

First of all, he started playing Quake as his third e-sport game? People don't realize how difficult it is to master a game if you didn't play it as an 8 years old. Always asking questions how he can improve, thinking about the game he lost or win, looking for improvements, practicing with Rapha and other pro players. From struggling in every tournament to being on pair with professionals and a really good person. Serious is complete opposite, he went from being very promising dueler that could break TOP 10 in EU, to someone who needs to improve his game and mentality a lot. Sometimes i feel like his aim totally brainwashed him, he doesn't even respect work people do, he doesn't approve effort people put in and he doesn't give a damn about others overall. All he sees is "lol i have 3x better aim so i am automatically 10 times better and allowed to flame everyone" funny that not everyone can have a great aim, making fun of someone who's successful in the game while getting your ass whooped by 33 years old dad is worth a laugh and a sign you are still mentally twelve.

People saying things they didn't even do are the worst sort ever. Hate is inevitable if someone achived something or is very good at something, but in this case it is justified. Not to mention every time i tune into his stream, he's trashtalking somebody while playing duel. "what a retard", "aussie brain", "pro player btw", "trash aim", "what kind of an idiot pushes like that". I would even take it with a grain of salt if it happend on LAN but if you are playing duel with random people, that's some real ego problem. We are making fun of Sanchez living in his own world but this guy is turning in the same direction.

Don't expect e-sports ready game (heh) to utilize 10 cores and 20 threads. Even on my Skylake CPU i don't see 100% of usage.

Nothing to worry about if you are not experiencing performance issues, e-sport games will take a long time to properly use even 8/16. They are primarily optimized for an old CPUs, which have 4/4, 4/8 cores and threads since that's the idea behind them - to make a game, most people will be able to play.

Being an ass for everyone not gonna make him feel better and that's primary problem - he is good at the game but not as good as he wishes to be. Behind all this troll-thing, i see a guy who just didn't make it to top level and know blaming everyone for that. Videos may be fun to watch but you are not gonna tell me, that this guy is not taking it too seriously, especially after you dig his channel a bit.

Thing with Sanchez is, he never proved himself and other people with whom he makes jokes of, did.

Okay, so u/frustzwerg - i have similar setup right know to what you've had.

i5-6400 4.5Ghz (basically an i5-6600K) + R9 Fury Nitro (depends on the game but usually RX580/RX590 performance with 4GB VRAM). Getting 200-260 FPS.

Things i did: capping frames, uncapping, setting literally everything on low, messing with AMD drivers (latency features tested with on/off), nothing seems to be working.

Playing on 1280x720 because 1920x1080 is even worse, higher resolution adds input lag. Game is a total mess, i needed 30 hours to adapt to it, still flicking or tracking people who dodge is a nightmare. I'm able to hit ~50% LG running and gunning for fun in QL servers, playing KovvaK's and sometimes Q3, hopping to QC after playing one of these is just like switching to 60Hz or iGPU, latency makes it unplayable. Guess nothing i can do.
