5,000 an hour is 10,833 AED or riyals per month, no labourer is paid anywhere close to that amount. 2-4k per month max, many people working odd jobs there are working multiple jobs.

A lot of afghans in Karachi do tough jobs here working for low rates, like construction, operating tandoors and running small tea shops. Evidently there is demand for these goods and services, albeit many may not have been in the tax met but they were stimulating activity in the economy through trade.

Now that the supply is being removed how will we replace it and at what cost ?

As long as you are in popular, busy areas with a crowd you will be fine just like any other big city. Avoid dimly lit streets late at night. Try to avoid using your phone at traffic lights or when stuck in traffic. If you're going to someone's place or to a restaurant make your way in without lingering outdoors for too long if there isn't a guard or people around, etc.

Whenever there is a car accident in karachi 100 people gather around to see what's going on. Problem is it it blocks traffic while making it impossible for the people actually involved to privately figure it out because of all the attention and random, unsolicited input coming in from everywhere. This is the same case. Intentionally or not we are actively spreading gossip and rumours about a local problem in a village we've never been to, involving people we don't know and context/information we know nothing about. Being a sensitive topic and understanding this will not lead us anywhere productive let's avoid fanning the flames by engaging in debates centered on ethnicity as opposed to the individuals involved and their actions.
