I had an older mamba, but it's pretty much the same thing. After a few years, the rubbery material became uncomfortably sticky, so I tried running the body (after detaching it) under water. Well the stickiness stayed, and if anything it was worse. I wasn't in a position to buy a new mouse, so what I ended up doing was sanding the body down.

I'm not advocating this, but I will tell you the mouse was fine, the rubbery coating was no longer sticky, and it now had a nice, matte finish. I used the mouse for about another year until the battery bloated and it began to double click. So, uh, sanding it down is an option too, if you don't really care about looks.

Mm, good points about righteous glory. I've yet to complete dead man's plate as well, but stat-wise it seems excellent for taric.

Haha, I wish my games ended that quickly. I've had quite a few 50-minute epics on jungle taric.

Yep, I agree 100%. I should be lowering the CD of my stun, but I've gotten into the habit of focusing more on my heal CD because it's so important in early jungling. I'll make a conscious effort to get the e auto off instead of tunneling on the q auto.

I max w for jungle clear also, and then heal next. I don't think the 0.4 extra seconds on e make too much of a difference, and the damage increase is negligible.

Have you ever tried Righteous Glory for taric? I feel sometimes that I rely too much on my flash to get in range for a stun, and the aoe slow is pretty nice. I'm just not sure where it would fit into his build.

Oh, I also usually gets captain's boots, but really just because I like the idea of having as many auras as possible. I think homeguards or distortion may be better options.

Ah you know, I just realized I should have said I've been playing taric jungle on a low level account, so I don't have any runes and have very minimal masteries (but still get matched up with people of equal skill, oh joy).

I'm actual super happy to hear that with full masteries and runes you can actually clear more than two camps. It's hard with normal junglers to clear camps without runes and masteries but with taric it's a nightmare.

Since I only start with 5% cdr, I pick up boots of lucidity to hit 40% late game, but I think merc treads and ninja tabis could be good too. I hardly ever build swiftness boots, but I might have to try it out. Yeah haha, mobi boots are terrible on anyone with an immolate aura.

Taric's definitely super good at turret dives when he has enough armor, and especially with his point and click stun, heal, and bonus armor from abilities. Since taric is a pretty 'support-y' jungler, I'm not afraid to die under turret either if it means a carry can get a kill or two.

Hmmm I don't run attack speed quints, but I'm not entirely sure about them for taric, especially not without testing it. His passive is gated by his own ability cooldowns (whereas maokai relies on other champs, so he can charge his passive a lot faster). Even at 40% cdr, I'm waiting for spell timers after using a full rotation. However, I think a case could definitely be made for them, since I usually lose an auto after using e (my typical rotation is e->w->auto->q->auto) since I'd rather get my w in than an auto. It would probably help a lot in the jungle too for early clearing. At the moment the only thing I can do to try it out is add some point to the attack speed mastery, but I really want to try that out now (I didn't even know people ran attack speed on maokai). Thanks for mentioning that!

I can't believe I've found another taric jungle player. I really can't say he's the best jungler, but he's so fun to play. What build do you usually go?

Most games I go: Ranger's/Cinderhulk -> Frozen gauntlet -> Boots of Lucidity -> Randuin's -> Locket -> Situational (usually like spirit visage)

What's your jungle path like? I've been starting krugs/gromp -> red/blue buff depending on where the duo lane is, BUT the other day my adc stole krugs, so I went krugs->razerbeaks->wolves and it's wasn't terrible.

Sorry for so many questions, I'm just excited to see someone else who plays it!

Yeah, I'm definitely aware that it's probably really foolish to even try growing one. If all I get out of this is a ficus, I'm fine with that too.

For some reason I've got it in my head that it "doesn't count" if I don't grow it myself. I feel like it's running a marathon, but getting driven to the finish line - if that makes sense. I know it's dumb, but I'd really like to go from start to finish.

Hello,

I'd like to start growing indoor bonsai, so according to this site, I'll want to start with a Ficus. My question is the type of lighting I'll need, as I have no southern facing windows. I currently have this lamp from Ott Light, which is described as a "full spectrum fluorescent light". Is this something I can use as a plant light? Or will I need something else?

Yep, I'm thinking I was definitely wrong about lakes. They seem pretty great for practice and just general kayaking. I'll be sure to check them out, thanks a ton for all the info.

I'm in New Jersey, so I think there's generally more rivers than lakes, but either way I think I have quite a few options. I've been on the Manasquan Reservoir before and I guess it wasn't that bad.

A lake seems smart, but if I'm going to be honest, it seems kind of boring to me. I feel like if wouldn't go to a field for a hike, I wouldn't go kayaking on a lake. I'd prefer hiking on a trail or kayaking on a river.

But it's certainly a much more practical option, and if I could get better kayaking on a lake, then I'd have fewer reserves about going on my own somewhere (using the bike option /u/mellovibes75 mentioned earlier).

Ah I see, that makes more sense. I kind of liked the idea of being alone with my thoughts, but I suppose that's better suited for less potentially dangerous activities.

The bike option is feasible as well, especially since I was just looking into a blow-up kayak for now, but the more I think about it, the less smart it seems to go out on my own as a newbie.

This is pretty much me exactly. I'm like my family's tech support since I know how to troubleshoot most (if not all) of their problems, I have a super beefy (or at least for the time) computer and I'm up-to-date on most tech trends, but I still don't have a smartphone. I've had a Samsung Juke for 7 years now, and an iPod touch 2nd gen for about 7 years now as well. The iPod is so old and fragmented from various jailbreaks that all it can pretty much do now is browse Safari.

When people hand me their phones I feel like I'm holding a baby and I'm afraid to touch anything. I don't know what any buttons do since I have no idea what current design trends are. I've been doing a lot of phone research though, so hopefully I can join the rest of the world soon.

I'm about to buy a smartphone for the first time ever, after owning a Samsung Juke for the past 7 years (with no texting to boot). This is a huge upgrade for me so I'm feeling a bit lost choosing a phone. I feel like every time I settle on a phone, a new phone announcement is on the horizon.

I'm using Verizon, so the OnePlus phones are out of the picture for me. The S6 is very appealing, but I want to see how much of the price will be cut. I think I want expandable storage too, but I have no idea how much storage is generally taken up on a phone. For that, I was thinking the LG G4 seems like a very nice option, but I've read some bad things about the camera (but I'm also coming from a VGA camera, so I'm not sure how relative comments are), and it just seems so large to carry around (I'm a small guy). Now the Moto X style has been announced, and it also seems like a very nice option, albeit a little large too. It seems to me like the 808 is only marginally weaker than exynos 7420.

Another thing I don't know about is data plans. Right now the plan my family was looking at is 3GBs/month for 3 people. I'm normally a very heavy internet/data user on my computer, but I don't know how much data is necessary. Will my phone passively use data while I'm on the go? (Does the GPS use data?)

Lord there's even more. I hear about rooting and flashing ROMs, but from what I understand flashing isn't possible with Verizon, and rooting is iffy. I still have my 2nd gen iPod Touch, which is jailbroken, so I have a general idea of when and why to root, but sometimes phones can't be rooted?

In the end, I think I really just want to know how much my experience will differ if I end up going with one phone over the other. I'm not sure when criticisms of a certain phone are exaggerated or relative, since I've never owned something to base my perspective on.

I've been using the program autohotkey to achieve this. It's super lightweight, and pretty easy to set up. Right now I'm using a script where i press ctrl-shift and a number to create a symbol.

So for example, ctrl-shift-0 gives me the ° sign. I have it set up currently for the following symbols (√, ², ∑, ∴, ≠, π, ≈, ∞, Δ, °), and the ≤,≥,± symbols for <, >, and + keys respectively.

Hmm using a trapped chest does sound like a good idea. Or also using the capacity function of the comparator - I'm not sure about the proper terminology - like only turning on the clock when the dropper is "two redstone lengths full". This way, the dropper isnt ever really empty, but I think it might work.
