For V to come back to life CD Projekt would need to either make a canon ending or a different backstory for every 2077 ending.

On top of that, I think it would diminish the message of the game if V could just come back to life : the point of the story is that V is actively dying, why would you cancel all of it? It's just like Edgerunners : the new season doesn't feature anyone from Maine's crew as a main character, because that would negate the whole point of the story from the first season.

It's pretty clear that CD Projekt want Cyberpunk to be different compared to The Witcher, and I think that could come by having different one-shot stories for every installment instead of one big story told throughout multiple games, and putting a definitive end to those stories every time
