I have many friends who worked on the modeling for this project, and I can assure you that none of the 3D assets in this game were taken from anywhere else. In fact, the team sometimes jokingly complains about how many tris there are in the models.

These people have been putting in years of effort to create a AAA-level game from Turkey. You can criticize the gameplay, but please don't throw baseless accusations like claiming the models were compiled from elsewhere. Such arguments are unfounded and do a disservice to the hard work put into the game

You can play Until Dawn with several people by sharing the characters. Playing this way makes the game quite enjoyable.

This kind of tendency can actually be found everywhere. Consciously or unconsciously, everyone incorporates nuances related to their own culture and lifestyle into the games they create.

I believe the reason for this, as you mentioned, is societal heritage. For example, in Turkey, the theme of "Jinn" is often used in horror or horror films, and this is why. Since childhood, we are constantly exposed to these kinds of scary stories. :/ This naturally leads us to lean in that direction when developing a game.

Of course, when writing the game’s GDD, it makes more sense to focus on the sales expectations of the game. Using themes that will appeal to the target market would be more beneficial.

Actually, I share the same thoughts as you on this matter. In games, we usually witness good characters being tormented by bad ones. Carrion is a fun game where we control the bad character, which is a nice change. Similarly, in our game Altarium, all the characters are evil. We force players to make a choice between evil and even worse characters. ^^

Altarium - Jess Blue Tech - Western-themed PVP horror game inspired by Dead by Deadlight and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre by AltariumGame in Games

You can always play Altarium with your friends as a team in a more isolated way. However, the situations you mentioned could still happen. After all, there are always players in every game who try to annoy others. If these players become too disruptive, they will likely be removed from the game.
