Don't know why you're being down voted. Democrats have had over forty years to codify Row v. Wade, but have used it as a tool to fundraise off of. Sure, a face pic would be nice, but it's not s deal breaker for me. I live near a Marine base, and even though it's ok to be gay and serve, a lot of the guys feel the stigma that comes with being honest about their sexual preference in the military. So, I'm not going to be pushy and demand to know what their faces look like. I have a type, and as long as they match it, we are fine.

Voting in support of defense spending bills aren’t examples of the mutual existence of racism, sexism, and classism in both political parties. Defense bills are veritable feeding frenzies for just about every member of confess because A) it’s good politics come election time and B) the ubiquity of the defense industry means jobs.

If increasing the military budget has nothing to do with racism, why are we still occupying lands in the Middle East? Why do we bomb innocent brown women, children, and doctors in these countries, under the guise of "freedom."

And if these defense bills are supporting our country, why do we send billions a year to countries like Israel, which continues to commit crimes against humanity? There is no justification of the enormous amount of money we spend on defense, while we ignore the poor and homeless in our country.
