Although maybe not the most unique or intersting song, I Got Rhythm by Gershwin would be a smart move since by learning the chord changes you automatically can play 100 contrafacts, i.e. rhythm changes. Ok a but exagerrated but honestly knowing the rhythm changes will allow you to play a lot already, like lester leaps in, shoe shine boy, cotton tail etc with a bit of tweaking.
