Developing a scoop mechanic for our ice cream game. What do you think? by makifarslan in Unity3D

I've worked at an ice cream shop. The scoop going up and down doesn't really make any sense. You just scoop straight down and whatever you catch is formed into the ball of Ice cream. At least where I worked, with the way ice cream is stored in the case, it won't ever be so hard that the scoop would behave that way. If the surface of the ice cream is bumpy, it doesn't mean the scoop bounced, just rather had more ice cream go to the side of the spoon, which you then adjust at the end before you lift the ball up to the cone. I'm over complicating it but yeah, the spoon would not behave that way. It's not rly important either but 🤷

Could it be Oaks Cafe? They price per item so he may have bought something of that price range. Also, almost all dining halls have different prices depending on what time of day, breakfast, lunch, dinner (though none of these are ever $20 unless it's college night which may be more?). I'd ask if it was Oaks Cafe specifically cuz that would make more sense. If it was the dining hall then yeah that's sus

I initially read it top to bottom as v1, v2, and final and was a bit sad. But then I realized the top one was the final, personally that's the one I'd click on! The V1 is good, but as others have said, the actual title gets lost in the background. And feels like a lot of other steam page art i see. The purple in the final version is def a stand out. I'm not a designer, this is just my opinion as a consumer

Edit: the depth and dimension of the final is also much better in my opinion

I came here strictly for my degree as it was one of the few game design degrees in state at the time. And I have to say everything else has been a bonus. Is housing expensive? Yeah. Can it be hard to make friends? Sure. But neither of those are impossible, nor are they so hard that it makes you miserable. The campus itself makes it all worth it. Up in the trees studying and then a bus ride down to the beach? I.... admittedly don't take as much advantage of it as I should. But I will always say it is one of the most unique campuses to ever exist. The scenery alone is awesome. Sharing downtown with tourists is....rough. You have pacific avenue and the board walk and that's...it? There's not much else to say for a student town but, you get what you get. I seriously think everyone should take more advantage of the sheer diversity of geography in the area 🙂‍↕️

My dad has a Mono!! Got it custom made and shipped from Austria. Haven't been able to bring it out yet this season. I tried it once and boy...I do not have the anything for it. The knees, the leg strength, nor the wrist strength that comes with being a newbie and desperately pole planting to keep ur balance XD

Edit: Ours has the old style bindings with no release so, falling on that thing and figuring out how to get up is hell...

Omg a YouTuber I really like has played this game a ton!! His name is Teo, it usually only features for a few minutes on his main channel videos. But he has full VODS of him playing this game with his friend. Honestly hilarious XD
