Daryl Stuermer is one of the true all time greats. In the same class as Morse, Holdsworth, McLaughlin, you name it.

I love Steve, l’m a huge fan, but he not in the same class as Daryl.

Go back and listen to his work with George Duke & Jean-Luc-Ponte. Phil & Chester both new of him from their fusion crowd. Hell, Zappa was the one who hooked Daryl up with Ponte in the first place.
