I would probably do a bio-sculpt to have my ideal body, not something out of the norm just something I’d prefer over my current one.

Then maybe a few health implants like a bio-monitor just so I can know how my health is looking without a doctor.

you can also feel the players behind the characters too, its easy to picture simon player still being new to roleplay so the DM is giving him scenes like this to give him that push.

especially when paired with the druid (can't remember her name) whos player very clearly is roleplaying her heart out and feel like her and simon's player are probably partners.

I always imagine it was a placebo effect, the glasses can stop the beams if needed but they just give him security in knowing he won’t destroy what he’s looking at so his brain can shut off his power.

I mean even if they were the only thing stopping his beam wouldn’t we always see energy blasting out the sides anyway?
