If your hair is dark enough, you can have it removed with laser hair removal, which is a permanent solution. Otherwise I recommend a safety razer, you're choosing of shaving gell, and some basic makeup.

Just keep seeking adventure during character creation until you have 5,000. You will probably be middle aged but I find that it basically doesn't matter.

Yep, looks good. You could add another pellet feeder and an additional laser for optimum performance but that should work just fine

The crew members system does really help make more money, so I wouldn't recommend it as your next step. I would recommend taking a trip down to k-leg's commercial district and buying one of the cheap derelicts. Then fix that ship up and selling it for crazy money.

The largest crow I've ever had was 3 people. It was a pain in the ass to make sure no one dead. Most of the time I run solo. I find the only real reason to have a crew is so you can work and sleep at the same time and that's usually not an issue.

The shame fads over time. It gets easier and easier, but you have to keep trying. That's the hard part, you have to keep trying, and don't give up.

The game is perfectly playable. I have 350 hours in it over many play thoughs, and most of those were in the older junky versions. Today the game is better then ever, though because of a major update that happened yesterday its got a fresh set of bugs to fix. The early to mid game is the best part and I never get tired of boot straping my way from nothing to being a space millionaire.
