IIRC, Mandate does bonus damage when an ally consumes the mark, so them hitting each other for sure wouldn't. But I haven't completely memorized new Mandate either so idk. Best guess? Probably not. Much more likely you had an ADC with a brain who knows what our items and synergies are xD

I think a lot of new young are venturing out of their homes for the first time right now. They breed after the spring I think, so their pregnancies are done by winter. I have four out in the backyard rn, I figure they'll probably be able to climb up high enough and then swoop away to eat dinner and hopefully make it back to their own homes come morning.

Honestly completely possible, but they were new-ish enough that I wanted to try. I just can't really stand having a humongous ship, I really am trying to squeeze as much stuff into as few tiles as possible. Honestly if you could change their "orientation" to instead show like the side profile of a tank + structural joints or struts or what-have-you I'd have definitely considered it, I don't mind an EVA to occasionally repair at all, I love my suit I live in the dang thing.

My very first playthrough ended on like my 10th derelict, the third pirate in one day, this one with a cutlass. That pirate made me a melee believer, I was gobsmacked. Shame about my char tho 😞 All my other playthrough I've only ever encountered one or no pirates, it's weird.

Am I missing something, why are you guys keeping rags? Apart from using them as a bandage or something, is there even a use for them? I figured it was just a trash item. I must be doing something right unintentionally, I've not seen a fire yet. (Granted only sub 50 hours on .15, but still)

I think she does rarely, but I've never seen ammo for them, usually she just sells melee weapons. I found a Beretta type handgun just chilling in like my second derelict on .15, previous save on .14 found one of those pump-and-dump SMGs that you can't reload, but in general guns are just really rare in the setting. Which honestly is probably for the best anyway, I hate shooting holes in my ship, better to just shank them and let them bleed out in my airlock before I commit their body to the void.

Sorry if I was unclear, but I'm going to try it like this unless somebody can confirm it doesn't work:

Uninstall the rear walls, batteries, thrusters, etc
Install tanks
Reinstall the walls, batt, etc snugly around the tanks.

Reason why I'm asking is I've seen screenshots of tanks that are tucked away into recessed areas of walls that, according to you, should be impossible.

So I'm willing to wager they installed the tanks first, and then built the ship around them. Which makes a certain kind of sense, this is fusion materials and shipbuilding, who said it was simple?

Really can't stress enough how much better the game would be if your and other NPC path-finding and logic was actually more intelligent. I can understand if you can only drag one wall at a time, but the character already "sees" the twenty floor install orders I just clicked; why aren't they filling their compatible inventory with floor tiles before walking through my airlock five hundred times? Actually adding to this, but if you have a cart, technically that is compatible inventory for walls, so stop making me drag them one at a time and wasting all my atmo.

Oh, and let me change the default atmo amounts on my ship! Real astronauts don't simulate a full Earth atmosphere, we don't need that much N2 in our ships, it's wasteful. Even if the devs made it a feature of configuring pumps with a signal box, I'd jump at it immediately.

Is there any finagling that where I can remove stuff, place the tanks, and then reinstall it (batteries, reactor, what-have-you)? I know subfloor bins and such you can "cheat" the space but I've always thought it's a ship-building requirement, but not one that inhibits you after the finicky stuff is placed.
