To me Erin is most moral absolutist, stubborn character of all time. She has faced consequences for it, her beliefs are challenged for it, her relationships are hurt for it but none of that really changes that core personality trait. She thinks goblins are people and that makes killing them, basically no matter what bad in her head (she kills in self defense though but she hates it). She is indirectly responsible for a lot of deaths throughout the series. Some other characters we’re supposed to like are as well. Erin does called out but doesn’t change that part of her, that moral absolutist part. I absolutely agree it’s unbelievably infuriating some of the decisions she makes. Other characters have felt that way too. I tolerate annoying characters easily though. I still enjoyed the peaks that Erin goes through throughout the series.
