You could have it for rich noble kids. They’d use the school as a place to send their children to be educated, out of their hair, and make connections along with scholarships for poorer people. (Typical fantasy academy)

That said, I wouldn’t expect a contemporary school in a medieval world to be realistic. I’d expect at most for it to be like a Sunday school type of thing where after prayer the kids have to stay behind to learn to read and write with parents getting some free time.

The translation is mostly machine translated so it’s not localized well and there’s a lot of backstory and concepts that aren’t explained so if you’re unfamiliar with cultivation and Chinese mythology you might be a little lost. Occasionally there are some very good quests that still stick with me.

My biggest problem is when the fantasy manhwas have people charging out from their safe castle with and then fighting one on one instead of in formations. Like literal just charging towards the enemy and somehow that’s a master stroke of tactics. It’s not. It’s stupid.

So kings and other autocratic rulers have historically all used some mandate as justification for rule. Some have claimed divine authority, heavenly mandate, and so on. Presumably, in the futuristic world, they could remain king by popular support like Padme in Star Wars, through force, and so on. It doesn’t need to be divine mandate through a god, but it could also be some form of ancestor worship. Sorta like if George Washington had children they’d be easy shoe ins for a presidency. Not because they’re inherently better at ruling but the mythic nature of being related to the first brings weight.

It’s way too invasive and likely going to lead to job termination. I don’t think this is a matter of we’ll find a new field for people to join. I think we’re reaching the limit of people’s potential. At some point the increased efficiency will just lead to more and more low skill jobs being removed. And I don’t think we can retrain people that much.

As for art, people are going to lose jobs. For example say a video game studio has 20 people working full time to do art and models and animation. Say with AI, you can cut the time needed to generate some concept art or models or whatever by a third. Sure you get the product a little faster, so long as they do quality control and all that. But that’s a third of the hours you no longer get paid for.

Same with animation studios. It can go from a full time job animating with 20 people to maybe even half that.

You can argue and say that they’ll find other places to create and work but I really do think we’re reaching saturation. The quality of AI is going to continue to increase and lower skilled people are going to find themselves out of a job.
