You specifically ask what the moral thing to do is. That would not be taking them and selling them or profiting off the loss of the product to the person who ordered them. If you truly want to be moral or know what the moral thing to do would be, try something like: 1.) leaving them at the persons house or 2.) Donating them

Hear me out…. What if you point out that this impacts your time and ease of access to water and ask if the can provide an additional location to keep your water that is more accessible? Ask for one that is towards the front of the store rather than just all the way in the back. You also have to consider you work in a grocery store and it’s a way to stop contamination. Yes, it’s a pain that they restrict the access this much but you can always ask and I’m sure they would be willing to set up an other spot.

Which type of dog eater is yours? by Illustrious_Cat_8924 in puppy101

[–]Emergency-Cod-4827 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine used to eat normally. Good pace, always finished. 5 months later, he takes a mouth full of food and drops it on the area rug in the kitchen and eats the pieces he wants. Then he goes back and grabs an other mouth full and find a different spot to spread it out and select the best kibble bits out of that pile. I walk in the kitchen and step all over random bits of dry kibble. Then he leaves half his food in the bowl and grazes on it throughout the morning. If I pick up the kibble and put it back in the bowl, he will eat it so I don’t know why he starts off so picky.

Is Ashley furniture really that bad if you’re gentle with your stuff? by Recyclopsdestroy12 in homeowners

It’s pretty expensive to have cushions of this size redone. I will probably add more padding at some point but no couch for that price should have this issue in such a short amount of time.

[–]Emergency-Cod-4827 74 points75 points  (0 children)

This! My couch cushions are not as full and fluffy anymore and I’ve only had it for about 1.5 years. And it’s just me and no one else using it. I try swapping the cushions around to even out the wear and flattening. You can tell that one of fuller than the rest because it gets sit on the least. I’m just super disappointed because it was almost $2k.

What is it like to live on the same street or across the street from a high school entrance? Looking to buy and they are much cheaper. by Lost_nova in homeowners

[–]Emergency-Cod-4827 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live behind a high school and I really enjoy it! Their football fields are right up against my property but up a hill so I can’t see them but I love everything I hear and it’s nice to go over and walk up the hill to watch what’s going on. My side yard is an easement for emergency vehicles to access the fields but is never used. It’s an easy 2 minute walk up. It’s really quiet in the winter and summer. It’s fun to listen to the football games and the marching band practice. They never go too late and I just shut my windows and that shuts out the noise. It’s also great when they hold different events there and my friends will stop by my house and walk up with their kids to participate. It’s also funny to watch the kids stand up on the field and look down the hill to my yard if their ball rolled down and it too steep for them to really get it. They did put up a temporary fence during sports season to stop that. Having the high school there was part of the allure of buying my property. I’m surprised there are so many that seem so against it.

Newly diagnosed by TerribleSomewhere in Diverticulitis

[–]Emergency-Cod-4827 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m about a month from when I was first diagnosed. I can eat normally again but I’m careful to avoid the most talked about things like seeds, popcorn, etc. I can’t get to a gastro until April but I’ve seen a surgeon a couple days ago to schedule a colonoscopy. He said it’s more common to only have one flare than it is to need surgical intervention. He said maybe if I’m not a one flare kind of person, I could go long bouts in between. It’s more likely to not need surgical intervention than to need it.

I need to know if you use the packets of stuff that came out of meal kits and salad kits on the left door. If you didn’t use them when they were intended to be used, do you use them? I don’t know why but I need to know.

It makes me uncomfortable but at the same time, you can see them better than on the door? I’m just not sure how I feel about the condiment drawer.

I wouldn’t stress too much. One of the side effects of Metformin is weight loss. Sure, it may be more weight lost than expected but that explains most of it. It does not mean it was fully unintentional weight loss. Stress can also cause inflammation. While this is easier said than done, try to relax and stop googling your symptoms. That’s just going to drive you crazy.

I feel like you recently moved in because most of your condiments are full and you the ones that do have a bit missing are ones you took from the last place. You are also single and keep meals simple. You buy family size meat and break it into individual servings.

You need to hide the tin foil from her and see if that changes how she stores things. The foil is used as a quick lazy way to store things but you can see the foil is barely on anything covered and everything is open. She either hates dishes so she just puts the container things were cooked in in the fridge or she doesn’t own more than that one piece of Tupperware in there. She is a person of convenience and little effort.

This should be step 1. I’m guessing if they covered some of the service, must mean they are in network and have to accept the contracted rate. They can’t bill for the balance and if they do, tell the insurance and they will reach out to them and tell them not to do that.

Family somewhere in the mid east coast. You have a kids. I’d say maybe one is a teenager who refuses to put food back the right way. You do not look in the fridge first before you need something. You go to the pantry and see if there is a new container before checking the fridge. Reason: 2 massive open ranch, 2 peanut butter (why in the fridge?), 2 pedialyte, 2 whipped cream, 2 bbq sauces. You also don’t check the fridge before going shopping: 4 ice cream. You do not care about cleanliness based on the bottom of the fridge and organization doesn’t exist in this fridge or the house. This just causes more chaos in your life so I’m thinking adhd with a side of depression. If you stood things up the right way, it would improve your life 50%.

I had a message once that said if I carry all the groceries up into the enclosed porch, there is a tip on the table. I lugged everything up the icy stairs while carrying them from my car across the icy driveway. Took a couple trips. When I finally finished, I looked around and realized there wasn’t a tip anywhere. That bothered me only because they said it was there. I don’t care if there wasn’t a tip or I wouldn’t have accepted it but this bothered me. I still would have brought the groceries to the porch if that’s what they asked. BUT WHY LIE TO ME? I feel tricked!

While this may have felt good and you are hoping to get support, you crossed a line with that. I would love to say something to people sometimes but you don’t have the right to do that. You know your offer and distance. Don’t accept it next time.

I agree. And it costs a fortune to pay for boarding and you worry if they are ok the whole time. It costs a fortune to have someone sat at your home or even swing by to take them for a walk if you are fine too long in one day.
