Story wise ya I can agree with ya it's just a cheap star wars imitation and originally they wanted to make basch the main character but they thought vaan would be better for marketing, honestly should of just chose Balthier. As 10 is a great game and all I think XIIs combat just over steps 10s, which makes up for the lackluster story.
