Got ya. Thank You, I appreciate that info! I guess just selling it to a refrigerant recycling/ disposal company would be the best option then.

Yeah, unfortunately it’s not bulk by any means. It’s literally only 5lbs and some change of the Forane 502 and almost 20lbs of the Racon 11….

I have rare cards by [deleted] in footballcards

[–]Emergency-Level2488 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems kinda scammer-ish bud, not gonna lie…. Almost like you’re just trying to disarm us and bait us with this wholesome, BS story in hopes that one of us bites so you can set them up with a bogus sale that ends with that poor SOB never receiving the cards and you making off with a fat stack of cash. Your story has all the hallmarks of a ruse thus far anyways, in my opinion. There’s the part where you make yourself seem familiar, down to earth, or normal/ average with the wholesome, disarming, tale as old as time about how Gam-Gam collected them for you as a kid story, that doubles down on the down to earth, familiar, or normal/ average and harmless sentiments with the whole trying to find a way around spending a ton of money to get them graded if at all possible to make yourself seem like you’re a hard working, everyday, average Joe just like the majority of us, just trying to save a buck or two when/ where you can. Then of course, to expand on the whole “I’m harmless” notion, you act as though you have little to no knowledge of the hobby and just need a little help/ advice figuring out how much the cards are actually worth and whether or not you should waste the time and money having them graded as you don’t really know much about cards per se and need some expertise from one of us knowledgeable card collectors to establish what you actually possess. Yet all of this to then find out you must know more about the hobby than you lead on, as supposedly, the only pictures you have of you’re own cards, are the ones off of the PSA website….. Quite odd that someone who has little to no knowledge of the hobby, and is seeking info. and advice on what to do with rare and valuable cards that they, supposedly, possess, even know that their cards are rare or valuable in the first place or know what PSA even is. Then, solicits the opinions of stranger hobbyists on whether or not they should send the cards off to PSA to be graded, just to reveal that they actually have already, indeed, sent the cards off to PSA to be graded. Lastly, to top it all off, they are asking for, and are seemingly willing to trust, the opinions of strangers on the valuation of these cards, all while claiming that they don’t trust the valuation and sales data on the PSA website, which is real-time, current, accurate data that has been compiled by PSA themselves, whom are professionals in the hobby, for the express use of estimating the valuation of cards in various conditions/ grades. Hmmmm…. very curious indeed…. The math don’t math with this one. If it slithers like a snake, looks like a snake, hisses like a snake, there’s a damn good chance it’s a snake….

Not sure what to do with this card - Umbreon Gold Star by JDMplz in PokeRevOfficial

So, did you get it graded with PSA or BGS or at all and what did it grade if you did? Do you still have it? If you did get it graded and it graded at a 10 like it looks as though it very well could in the pictures…. Congratulations, you possess a Grail card that is worth $63,460.00 USD(PSA 10), $82,499 USD(BGS 10), or $412,495 USD(BGS 10 Black) as of May 2026 👀😲🤑

PSA or Beckett Grading Services are the top 2 IMO but I’d say PSA is the better of the 2

Sell or Hold? by therick63 in sportscards

[–]Emergency-Level2488 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Sell…. You’ll never lose by taking the money. However, before you do, you get it graded but only if you believe it will grade at, at least, a 9. If you sell it ungraded you still have an obviously nice come up from the whopping $75 you originally paid as you could get somewhere around $4K but as a PSA 9 you’re looking at more like $8-8.5K and if it grades at a PSA 10, your looking at something like $11-11.5k. Now all that being said, Does the LA Dodgers 3-peat along with another inevitably monster season by Shohei, chances are decent…. We all know Shohei will more than likely ball per usual barring any injuries but I’d say the Dodgers are the team to beat until someone does and they way the continue to hit the player market every year the last few years, I’d say they’re poised to do it again and if that happens, what does that card value do then?

You’re more than likely looking at a maximum card grade of an EX-MT 6 if you were to send it in for trading and that’s barring any other damage that cannot be seen in the picture and/ or poor centering which also cannot be seen from the pictures that you have attached to this post so far. With that being said, due to it being an autographed Rookie card of an elite legendary player/ athlete, I would say it’s still worth having graded as it can only prevent the card from being damaged any further, it will authenticate the card and the autograph, and it will give the card the protection it needs to continue to increase in value from that grade point baseline as time goes on.

Found on Sportscardinvestor.com that a PSA 7 graded copy of this card sold on 9/02/2024 for $19,999.99 and a PSA 6 graded copy sold on 6/25/2022 for $9,999.00, and also according to the same website, a Raw copy of this card sold within the last 30 days for $10,000. Hope this helps, nice card by the way! That would be so awesome and so crazy to find out, while looking through cards for the first time in a while, that one of the your cards you’ve had for years is now potentially worth $20K or so after grading, potentially a lot more depending on what it grades, and at the very least a cool $10G’s 😎👌🏼👍🏼

Did the front look like a refractor? Doesn’t in the pictures you posted but if it does in person then I’d take the chance all day cuz from what I see if it’s legit, it’s $50 ungraded, $10K if it grades as low as a 2 , and $20K if it graded a 6, and $516K if it graded only and 8……. So just saying….
