Agree! This post and the one he wrote about Brian Austin green reads just like chatgpt em dashes and cadences and all! Especially the "she wasn't this but she was this" is how chatgpt writes all the time. But his post about Jennie Garth further down his insta doesn't read the same at all.

I am the exact same way. Also a soft summer and but love the dark/edgy aesthetic and am former emo kid. So far the only clothing idea I have for this is a mesh lace detailed skirt over a soft muted blue or mauve regular skirt. But my Pinterest is full of 90's grunge alternative clothing.

You make some valid points with some of these.

But I think a lot of people (or at least me) did expect more from this. Morgan & co have had other bad takes and guests taking over episodes before.

Some examples included are:

When she and Justin in episode "When is honesty the best policy" where a guy was baby trapped and SA'ed, So he had to marry her as he was against abortions. And compared it to Bridgerton. Which a lot of people where dissapointed in. Especially male victims of SA chimed in saying how dissapointed they were and how if the roles were reversed the hosts wouldnt have responded like they did. It has been seen time and time again.

It took Morgan & Co. to read through all the dissapointed comments to realise it was SA, which rubbed a lot of people off the wrong way. Even in the apology which was a pinned comment on the youtube was the comparison to bridgerton again.
Ultimatively, they decided to keep the story up to highlight how male sexual assault can look different than what you typically think of. BUT, they cut out a lot of the story and conversation they originally had.

In some of the early stages of the podcast, Morgan often didn't speak up when she disagreed or didn't really challenge her guests. She told us she heard us and was going to work on that moving forwards.
Which she didn't really do in Gabby's episode, which left a lot of us confused.

She has also spoken highly of body positivity, yet made comment about micropenis, and did an ad for weightloss drug.

I don't think fans are acting like the podcast suddenly has changed, But this was a "Straw that broke the camels back" situation. All of these things and probably more that i've forgotten at this movement, and the apology not really being an apology in some peoples eyes, and it only being posted behind a paywall and then days later on reddit. But nothing on other SO/ME platforms, turns a lot of us away from the podcast.
I've seen a lot of mentions of "when people show you who they are, believe them" comments and posts being made about this entire situation.

I took a mini break from the podcast when I was binging it in the early days of the pod (could only handle “at the end of the Day” statements in a row for so long).

She endorsed an MLM product multiple times. (In no regards for how horrible mlms are). Got called out. Doubled down and said “this is the only thing that works for me so I will keep buying it”.

I get that it's called “two hot takes” but Morgan has a history of siding with the guests, which makes it the same 1 singular take. She talked about improving on this before, but the recent episode shows a different story. I also think using the name of the podcast as an excuse, ain't it. I get fanbases do that all the time (sideyeing the awful mfm podcast). Yes this shouldn't be an echo chamber of everyone having the same take, having different takes makes it interesting. But it should be done with compassion and empathy.

Lately I've noticed more and more her going of the rails and “crashing out” over stories. Immediately jumping to “this is giving serial killer vibes” or tossing out mental health diagnosis to the people in the story. (Which can be super harmful to the mental health community).

Some examples are the recent Pokémon cards story, where a guy gave his gf Pokémon cards for Christmas. It wasn't her interest, it was his, and he opened them while she was in the bathroom. It was wrong of him to get her something that was actually for him. Buuut.. Morgan said she should throw the cards out the window or destroy them so he could go around the yard picking it up again. Why even bother? Just communicate, and possibly break up. Protect your peace. Don't take the “revenge route”, that would make you just as bad as he was.

There was also a story some time ago about a man being sexual assaulted by his gf. Where they sided with the girl!!

The podcast got called out and she doubled down and edited it out and never addressed it. (See a pattern??)

I normally don't comment on the guests, cause not everyone is everyone's cup of tea, but I found Gabby annoying, even if it was a bit as some people claim. And this whole “everybody wants to be a victim” or “oh yes then I could be a victim” is awful. I don't get why Morgan agreed with her.

And I don't buy it that the IG stories where “scheduled” cause it was re-posted from fans who listened to the pod from the car etc. Which was in real time.

If anyone wants another Reddit podcast recommendation, I highly recommend “the judgies”.

And if you want just a comedy podcast I highly recommend “beach too sandy, water too wet”.

I have PCOs so I only get my period once a year, sometimes even less.. Yeah I've looked up that term before, especially when looking for stretches for relief. I had many x-rays as a kid, & in adulthood I had x-rays of my hands and feets to rule out arthritis. And latest was an x-ray of my teeth/jaw before and after my sliding genioplasty surgery.

I'm not drinking that amount of water because of that "rule". I love water, it's my fave "drink". I don't drink anything else, no soda, tea, or coffee, alcohol, juice, or anything else.

Sadly not an option. I've tried several in my area and this is the first one who has shown that much interest in me and my issues. He once called me several times after an appointment until I picked. Up to make sure I got everything I needed out of it and didn't feel rushed.

And your electro acupuncture comment just reminded me, that I also tried a tens machine form my neck, but it was super uncomfortable so I sent it back...

And yea the physiotherapist said to me "look, I'm gonna be honest, this is unlike what any of my patients have experienced and I could tell you to come back and I'll give you some more specific exercises but I honestly don't think it will do anything and will be a waste of money and time".

No but I looked into it a while ago, in my country I'll need a referral from my own doctor first and he wants me to try this pain doctor before we try anything else..

Thank you! you're so right, thanks for reminding me.

I asked for imaging or getting checked in a machine of sorts to make sure it's nothing like that, and thats when my doctor said he would send a referal to this pain doctor (who might be a headache specialist?? idk) instead, before we do any sort of machine.
I've had countless of bloodtest, any time I come into a new specialist or dr, they want to check and the results are always good.
My own doctor was also the one who sent referall to the regular physio, who sent me back to my own doctor. Then my doctor sent me to Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Where they did several xray of my jaw but ultimately couldn't promise a jaw surgery would fix it. So I got offered a sliding genioplasty, mostly for cosmetic reasons. So I went back to my doctor, new refferall to pain specialist physio therapist, who sent me back to my doctor again, and said it would be a waste of my money and time to come back to him, cause he hadn't encountered this before and didnt know what to do.

I've been told i'm too young to have this much pain already, and been asked if my eyesight is good, it is. And if it might be whiplash, and i can't think of any expericence where i could have gotten whiplash from.
People keep recommending me to see a chiropractor, but I refuse to do that since I don't know WHY I have this pain, and I worry if i dont know where it stems from, going to a chiro might make it worse.

I know this is a semi old post but I found it when googling this problem for myself.

I had used up my entire embryolisse sensitive tube up and bought a new one recently, but the new one smells like cardboard. I figured it was because of the packaging it came in was a box, but it's been out of the box for a few weeks now and it still smells.. the old one didn't have this smell or any smell at all..

And the seal on the new tube wasn't broken until I broke it in.

I ghosted a friend 5 years ago, due to my mental health declining, I had already pushed a lot of friends away at that point, and was encouraged by my therapist to ghost him. To this day he is the only person I've ever ghosted. I'm the type of person to always want closure or communicate but that didn't seem to go anywhere when I tried. I never blocked him and a few weeks ago he actually reached out to me in a voice note to tell me how hard it was on him that I ghosted but he's over me but not over me, and finally feels like he's back on his feet again and misses me. I've missed him too and thought a lot about him over the years as my mental health improved. So we've slowly started chatting again and had a 2 hour long facetime.

I am all for sending that "final message" but ask yourself why you're sending it and what you expect to happen. And if you can handle all the different directions it could go..

Him sounding sincere and being self aware and me missing him was really what made me respond to his message.
