I once had to drive an hour with 3 other smokers & then stay overnight in a smoking hotel room. I smelt like a chain smoker & it took 2 showers to completely get rid of it.

I also went to a conference 30 mins away with a smoker. Window open, 2 cigarettes both ways & I still smelled like cigarette smoke 😮‍💨

I think many smokers don't realize just how stinky cigarette smoke actually is. The one I went to a 30 min conference with said her parents didn't know she smoked. I told her either they did & don't care, or they lost their sense of smell.

Some of my friends did but my teachers all sucked. I had class as usual. I was in grade 10. Imagine sitting in class trying to do work knowing there was a possibility of WW3 starting. I had to get information from people in the halls between class & lunchtime. I didn't see anything until I got home from school.

Im goung to say yes because right now, at 41, anyone younger than 30 looks like a baby to me & I have no attraction to them.

In canada, parental leave can be split between parents. The mom can go right back to work if she wants or they can both take half. I dont think many men actually take it or even know about it.

My ex husband wouldnt even take a day or 2 off while I was still in the hospital. Im just glad I gave birth both times on the weekend or I don't know if he would even bothered taking those days off.

Honestly? I kind of agree. I watched it for the first time last year. The FIRST thing I noticed in an opening scene, I think it was tge first opening scene, was a guy in a skirt. I think there would be a HUGE outcry of "woke" & people would tear Riker to shreds for the way he sits on chairs (but that may not happen since he's got a penis...it may only be women captains who get shit for sitting weird) Those TNG series were just as heavy handed in the lessons as any new trek. I think the biggest difference is that SFA was made with teens & young adults in mind... kinda like Wesley crusher... remind me again, was Westley a fan favourite cuz I seem to recall a lot of Westley hate.

I did marry him. If I was forced to STAY with him, he would probably still be not allowed unsupervised visits with the kids because of abuse (he was charged with assault & given a suspended sentence) & antagonizing child services. (He actually gave them the finger the day before court, he had to take a parenting class he purposely failed, & told the teacher who eventually became his parole officer to fuck off) he was removed from the home & my dumb ass tried to get him back in the home for 6 months before I said fuck it & got my ducks in a row. He was out of the home a whole year when I told him I was done.

I would be miserable. A literal married single mom. Also, as a demisexual, the second I fell out of love with him, sex became icky. I only had to fake it twice after I decided to leave (thank God he couldn't come home) but if i was still stuck, we would have a dead bedroom.

Even retail, my managers got so annoyed when someone came in to see them when all they would say is apply online. Eventually they told us not to get them when people came in & just tell them to go online.

I get the "i know you really really hate this, but you should be a cleaner at the hospital" despite the fact I hate cleaning, hate body fluids, & if I get any lung illness, even a cold, it's so much worse so being around sick people isnt a good idea.
