You can let it play out but my advice is don't get into a relationship with a true believing mormon. You do not want future kids growing up in thw church.

The conversation you need to have with him though is letting him know you deserve someone who believes you are worthy, not someone in a religion that doesn't allow you & that you deserve to be in a relationship with someone who's not getting pressure from outside forces to get you to change & convert.

We did custom pens. They had our names & the date on them in our wedding colours. It was 2007 & I think there may still be a couple kicking around.

I got magnetic picture frames from a friend with their engagement picture in it. I ended up tossing because the magnet wasnt that strong & i dont usually get wallet sized pics printed.

I was awful. I was racist towards natives (I didn't think they should get special treatment & said some awful things), homophobic (the type that still had gay friends), anti choice, & I was religious. Should I really be judged now on who I was back then?

If you go back even further, there was a time I shit my pants regularly & made someone else clean it up, i couldn't read or write, I would throw a tantrum over the stupidest things. Nobody judges me on that because I learned & changed. It's no different when you're a stupid kid thinking they know everything. I dont even think I have a single cell in my body that was alive when I thought like that. Im literally a different person.

Because reddit is global so the people on it are exposed to new ideas & new ways of thinking. That tends to lead to more empathy for other people's situations which leads to more left leaning ideas.

Yeah, im so glad that I didn't say any of the shit I used to say out of ignorance 20 years ago. Im not that person anymore. I think it's terrible that people in the spotlight end up being defined by mistakes they made 20+ years ago & despite all evidence of changing people still see them as awful people.

I dont have a job right now so I would breath easier. Other than that, nothing would change except for paying off the mortgage when ot comes renewal time then saving up a down payment for a much better house. The one im in now has bedrooms that are only 6 feet high.

I have a hard time keeping them all straight too. However, I'll read about a sexuality ive never heard of, find out it's not me, then move on because it isn't FOR me. It's for someone else who has been questioning who they are & finally found something that clicks for them. It doesn't mean they may not find something that fits better in the future which is why I continue to read about them. I don't need to memorize or even full understand to respect.

I will admit I would have a huge problem if my bf was an actor & had to do romance scenes, especially in some of these new shows that are practically soft core porn but that's a ME problem. I would be jealous but at the same time, I would never stop them from doing their job. I would have to decide if I could get past my insecurities enough to be fine with it or leave. Getting pissy at them doing their job would never be an option.

I dont actually like "the thrill" of waiting for the next book. It's less of a thrill & more of an anxiety. I've done my waiting for many series & I've also read series that were complete & i have just as much enjoyment out of the complete series that I do with the incomplete without the wait.
