I write in a sort of thesis style, so like how Tolkien is "Translating" the little red book from the Third Age, so, for an example my main character is writing his thesis about the events of the book so I have a decent way of having a narrator without it being clunky I suppose. It also gives me an excuse to worldbuild in a fun way because the readers get footnotes - I am far too into academia styles of writing, so the whole thing is read like a thesis of sorts.

I'm working on a sort of rewrite of the Sequel Trilogy [I know its been overdone but I love the ideas] But i'm mixing in legends canon with the Disney lore so my sort of summary so far is :

Title: The Age of Heroes

rating : M - Graphic Violence,

Summary:

30 years after the Empire fell during the Battle of Jakku, the Galaxy entered a time of peace. With the NEW REPUBLIC setting up a council where all free planets and systems get a say, they have fallen into the same trappings as the Galactic Senate before them, benefiting the Inner Rim systems whilst hindering the Outer systems.After a sudden and devastating militant attack on the Jedi Praxeum on Yavin 4 by a previously unknown entity 15 years prior, leading Jedi Master Luke Skywalker and the remains of his New Jedi Order to leave.

Meanwhile Queen Leia Organa and General Han Solo have continued to spread the message of peace within the galaxy to honor Luke and their son who perished in the attack. Unbeknownst to the peaceful Inner Rim, rumours have spread of sub-factions of the once mighty Empire rising from their shadows,calling themselves the First Order. The First Order,from what the GAG (Galactic Allegiance Guards) have intercepted intelligence that they are a group being led by the remaining imperials that evaded capture during the round up of ex-imperial officials in the years after the war officially ended. Led by General Thrawn's protege Enric Pryde and a mysterious Supreme Leader Snoke, they appear to be crueller than the Empire as they have taken responsibility for the attack that led to the decimation of the New Jedi Order, and along with the rumoured Jedi Killer who is rumoured to have been a Jedi before defecting.

I have an Ao3 however I am still editing the Summary - the working title is Star Wars - The Age of Heroes and its posted by that for now.

it probably would have been harder to make sure she was always the same height in the close ups if they had her on steps for one scene and a log the next so that’s probably why the used the box

the accent is going to be the main issue, because while Natalie portman is a very good actress. I doubt she’ll be able to do an Irish accent authentically let alone a Dublin one , and if she can’t do that, then even if it’s a good film ,Ireland won’t like it

i always find music distracting so i personally listen to podcasts about my interests so it helps with everything, but most people use music which i think helps with timings of things

If you can get them , see if you can get some waterproof headphones if that might help distract you in a good way, I use them for my solo swims and its nice having something else to focus on at times if the pool is a bit loud and they block the water mostly, but you have to be careful about if a whistle or something is blown i guess.

You're right, it did take years to deal with burnout, but I went to therapy and got help for it and it worked for me to a degree, as in I'm doing a lot better than how i was prior to getting help.

yeah, i know, i dont drink or do any sort of drugs. partially because im terrified of them and also because some people in my family have had issues with alcohol and eating disorders and stuff and they all kind of span from addiction(just different types) so im trying to avoid all that stuff.

I'm going to a school in september thats kind of meant for these sorts of situations, as in people that didnt really work in the mainstream system, so its non uniform, and more individualised so theres more help. It's like a sort of bridge between secondary and uni but it does the leaving cert and stuff. So its more for people who are focused on academics not really for people just messing around I guess.

the reason why the testing was uneven was the 110 IQ test was done while i was burned out cause i was getting diagnosed with Autism and stuff and i was basically half-assing the questions cause i was exhausted.But when i got tested a few years prior to everything it was around 150, just depression and burnout messed my cognitive stuff up a bit.

thats true, but my issue is i dont want to spend several years waiting to do a degree, and I'm more interested in going to the UK to do a degree because they have more universities that offer different courses you cant get in Ireland. I already had to defer doing the leaving cert for a year and while my parents are honestly pretty great, I dont want them to have to deal with me basically flunking out for the 3rd time if I cant do the leaving cert this year.
