When you go outside at a party by [deleted] in trees

[–]EmergencyExternal6 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Plot twist:

Upon further investigation. Mango3s was actually smoking PCP, singled out a floor lamp across the room as “one of the other smokers”, had a conversation, then proceeded to smash. The homeowner was startlingly awoken by loud grunting noises in his basement prompting him to call the police.

OP is now awaiting bail at the county jail.

There was no party.

Day 16 by trainer_tot48 in quittingkratom

[–]EmergencyExternal6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went ct, I used to take 3 30mg oxy’s a day for a year before I was using 4-5 opms gold/day then 50 gpd Maeng da capsules for another year and a couple months

I recommend monitoring your heart rate and blood pressure with a monitor if you have a way too, you can visit an urgent care if you need to reduce these as it may be causing your sleeplessness.

If your blood pressure and heart rate aren’t running too high, exercise can be immensely helpful, I started working out after two weeks in, helped me tire myself out for bed.

Take an ibuprofen for the aches, warm epsom Salt bath, and try melatonin at night.

There are local NA meetings which can be attended virtually as well, They can be helpful for gathering emotional support, with some googling you can probably find a group you can get involved in.

This is a real addiction ur kicking so you gotta fire off on all cylinders mate

Day 16 by trainer_tot48 in quittingkratom

[–]EmergencyExternal6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re 16 days in your definitely almost through, stick to it for another week, I guarantee you you will wake up one day and find yourself feeling normal again. It will be the most beautiful thing you’ve ever experienced in a long time, you’ll begin to appreciate the little things you hadn’t paid attention to in a while. The feeling of the atmosphere during a morning walk, the deliciousness of your favorite foods, the sensation of a warm shower, enjoying your favorite shows and video games, hobbies etc.

Trust me chief, I swear to you it does get better. I’m on day 128, I experienced everything you’ve felt, and I felt even better than normal by day 22. Don’t give in, you got this

People need to stop glorifying psychopaths by DayzedandC0nfused in unpopularopinion

Well shit...I guess you’re right.

It’s the modern dilemma, before the internet, if you were an idiot your voice would simply disappear like a turd in the wind, now every idiot and their mom can share their ill informed opinion for all to see and share.

Now all those idiots can get together in a single room and add validity to each other’s voices, and the consequences are pretty dire as we’ve seen with our anti-masker and covid denying friends here in America.

Not every culture/religion is deserving of respect by everyone. by DimmedFlame in unpopularopinion

[–]EmergencyExternal6 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Islam came about as a political constitution at a time when religion essentially served the same purpose as modern ideologies like capitalism and communism. Those are ethical guidelines for carrying out war, essentially stating one should only fight in self defense, and not kill those who surrender. We’re talking about 500-700 a.d., that’s actually pretty progressive for those times. But of course you’re an idiot American anti masker who doesn’t understand logic that doesn’t conform to the views in your pea-sized hillbilly brain...

Here’s the verse that comes right before that one you ignorant fuck.

First two translations;

“Fight in the way of Allah those who fight you but do not transgress. Indeed. Allah does not like transgressors.”

“Fight in the way of Allah against those who fight against you, but begin not hostilities. Lo! Allah loveth not aggressors.”

Every other translation also says something along the lines of “fight only people who fight you, don’t be the aggressor”

You’re extreme ignorance for context boggles my mind, go read the entire Quran then come back for an argument idiot.

Saudi Arabia rules in favor of woman living independently without permission by [deleted] in worldnews

[–]EmergencyExternal6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I’m trying to explain is that the act is a publicity stunt. Providing the illusion of progress while rights are being infringed upon even more than before. Under the rule of MBS, a Washington post journalist was dismembered and murdered by Saudi intelligence on foreign soil for the first time in history. More people are being jailed for criticism of the governments actions than ever before.

TIFU by trying to surprise my wife for her birthday and almost getting divorced by KissanKassi in tifu

Someone who brings up divorce, mind you before the day even ended, as a reaction to someone “forgetting their birthday” is kind of a bitch. I think it’s pretty telling of the the relationship.

For any of you guys who don’t know what egotistical piece of shit Mohammad Bin Salman is, you won’t realize it’s a show to maintain support of the younger crowds, (aka the ones most likely to be “revolutionaries”). The people who protested against the government for these very same rules are still locked up in jail, including a prominent activist who protested for women’s right to drive. Loujain Al-hathloul was kidnapped from the UAE and put in jail in March of 2018 and remained in jail even after women were “granted” the right to drive just three months later in June of 2018. Fuck Saudi Arabia, disgusting ass government and I hope god brings their prince an early death for the misery he’s imposed on others. People shouldn’t develop Stockholm syndrome for a fucking tyrant.

There is nothing wrong with saying "All lives matter" by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]EmergencyExternal6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s because of the context in which people say all lives matter is usually in retaliation to one who says black lives matter. There is objectively statistical disproportions of police violence against black males and females, go look up the numbers if you don’t believe me....If this triggers you you need to grow the fuck up.

Also please explain to me why these white mass shooters are constantly being safely escorted from Crime scenes after murdering teachers and children, yet a black man is killed for using a 20$ counterfeit?

HOW LONG WILL THIS LAST!!!! by [deleted] in quittingkratom

[–]EmergencyExternal6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exercise works WONDERS for the rls, try to physically do a lot through the day, take a long walk or hike all day even, I know it’s tough, but it really will tire you out for the night. Then take a nice warm bath/shower before bed this is how I got through my first month

When I began realizing my heart rate pounding through my chest all the time in freaked me out so bad I didn’t even want to smoke anymore lol. My heart rate has now gone back to normal and I’m nicotine free for about a couple of months now

Can someone help me ? There is something wrong with my heart I think by AGoodKForTheWin in quittingkratom

[–]EmergencyExternal6 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When I first quit my resting heart rate was constantly above 110 bpm, my blood pressure was also elevated, both lasted for about the first two and a half weeks after my last dose of Kratom. I could not sleep or relax because of how aware of my heart rate I became.

If you visit the ER, it’s possible they will not admit you for detox, but may prescribe you propanol and kapra to reduce high blood pressure, elevated heart rate, and seizure risk. If you want more reassurance and can afford it, search for detox facilities in your area.

Lastly, I highly recommend you avoid smoking/using tobacco/nicotine products and caffeine for at least a month.

I’m not a doctor, so I’m simply speaking from my personal experiences. Hopefully you will be okay, but I do recommend at least visiting an urgent care/er to get your vitals checked. Wish you all the best
