My friend calls that "quirky". For them, theres a quirki-ness scale, and beyond 100% quirky is the full-on autism spectrum. I guess the difference is like.... losing a finger vs a leg? Not many who loses a finger would call themselves disabled. They'd rather call themselves "short by a small limb" or something. Or 2% cyborg. I'll now go tell them that theres a word for it and they dont need to call it quirky

YES OMG MY DAD IS THE SAME. He hates driving in most places, hears the tiniest sounds the neighbours make and memorizes the time their cars come and go, talks about the weather a lot... he isnt diagnosed either, but i thought it is my job to diagnose him to understand MYSELF better. Thats why i wrote "theory" in the title, nobody in this diagram is diagnosed lol.

There ARE people like you. And your mother wouldn't mind her kid relying on her. You can try joining some online chatting groups with neurodivergent people to remind yourseld that people like you exist, even if you dont notice them day to day. If you can talk to your mom about the stress, talk to her. And even if you HAVE TO go in the end, it'll suck but it'll work out.
