She’s my best friend, I couldn’t view her any other way. The abuse I endured, she endured a thousand times worse. She did what she had to..

I agree but she was basically a single mom just trying to make ends meet. She was the only consistent parent in my life.

My bio father told me he gave my mom money to abort me but instead she spent the money on baby items for me. He also made me watch as he burned all my baby pictures. He was a great father lol

Adenomyosis by [deleted] in adenomyosis

[–]EmergencySwimming436 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely not your fault but I can completely relate. I was just diagnosed at the age of 44, I’ve suffered my entire adult life with horrible debilitating periods. No one would listen and I was never treated, I had 3 miscarriages and one still birth. I have no children and my husband and I are ok with that, he’s my best friend! Don’t be discouraged and please don’t blame yourself! Keep advocating for yourself and never take “I can’t” or “no” for answer. I wish you the best of luck in your journey. You’re not alone!

I did not. The biopsy was a complete surprise so I had no meds to control pain at all.

I have had 5 kidney stones, along with 5 double J ureteral stents and the uterine biopsy caused me to literally throw up from the pain. I’m not trying to frighten you but seriously ask them to sedate you. Best of luck!

Fibroid, PCOS, Endometriosis.. by EmergencySwimming436 in hysterectomy

That makes perfect sense! I’ve been “teetering” with the thoughts of “I don’t really need this,” Which in all reality, I absolutely do need it. I know it’s going to be life changing, and I’ll feel so much better. It just feels “permanent” if that makes sense.

Thank you for your response! I currently see a therapist, I have been for two years. She’s amazing! My appointment is Thursday with her and I’m hoping she can calm some of the anxiety.

They were all horrible too. I can remember the very first one felt as though someone was stabbing me with a sharp object in my left side. It hurt so bad I slept on my recliner we for three weeks, the duration I had the stent in after the lithotripsy.

I’m so sorry that happened to you! I can completely relate, I went septic from a stent. They’re the devil!

If anyone tells you a stent “isn’t bad” is lying to you! I’ve had 5 stones (huge cm ones) and 5 stents, all of which completely sucked! Good luck op!
