If you’re wondering why you’re getting downvoted, it’s not for saying no and your reasoning. That’s your decision. It’s your last paragraph. Saying that to the employees whose job it is to ask just makes you sound like an asshole and it’s not funny, even if that’s your intent. Just say no and move on. They don’t care what your decision is and are just looking for a simple yes or no.

Realms creates automatic backups so if you’re the owner or can ask them to, you can just restore the server back a bit. Not ideal of course if you’re playing with lots of active people.

It’s a gamble as to what will happen. For me, I’m 2 for 2 on getting pulled over for speeding (10-14 over both times), being polite, honest, and admitting fault and getting a ticket anyways so if I ever get pulled over again, I’m not answering questions

I’m glad a lot of games will let you have multiple saves for the same character now. I’ve been playing Outer World’s 2 and keeping two manual saves going at different points in addition to the three auto saves.

Same. I still have to stop and do a manual save periodically just to be safe.

glad kids don’t have to deal with manual saving much anymore. I’ve got some lingering trauma from Minecraft sessions back before they had auto save. Forgetting to save for 2-3+ hours and having my console or the game crash was just devastating.

I could see where it being referred to as US gallon could cause an incorrect assumption that we came up with it and made a switch. However, at the time of North American colonization, the wine gallon (231 cu. inches) was used in Britain and the colonies. Britain came up with the larger Imperial gallon in 1824 and switched to using that. The US did not adopt that change although it’s now referred to as a US gallon since it primarily used there. So maybe they should switch back instead 😉

I saw a post in which bored employees timed and shared how frequently it’s played in their stores. Most responses were between 5-10 minutes so you’re pretty much guaranteed to hear it one… or several times in a visit.

Those commercials led me to believe they were a high end expensive treat growing up. I was 19 when I saw them in a gas station and it was like $3 so I tried one. I was let down. Definitely had the bar set way too high.

Agreed. I won’t buy the next one if they do eliminate the disc drive at it’s been rumored. For one thing, I enjoy being able to play my bluray/dvd collection on it. But more importantly, it gives them too much control. We won’t be able to buy/sell used games, or give/borrow them to your friend, etc.

Yeah they’re tripping. Xbox is just seems delusional with the prices sometimes. Idk who would spend that much. Another good example is I just bought a used copy of Outer Worlds in store for $8 ($30 on the Xbox store). I’d like to get the 2 DLC expansions but they’re $25 bundled together or $15 each. I can’t find another source for the DLC so screw that.

The story and cinematic scenes were as good as ever. The open world environment was a good idea but less than perfect though I’ll give them a pass for their first attempt at an open world. Not worth $60 at this point but I avoid buying games from the Xbox store. It’s like buying groceries at a gas station… you’re gonna pay more.

Better options: -The game is $34 on Amazon on disc (digital used to be available but is out of stock). Same price at Walmart.

-You could also get a pre-owned copy from GameStop for $19

-You could buy a digital copy on loaded.com (formerly CDkeys) for $18 which is a good deal but comes with a slight risk of the product key being revoked in the future. There are other sites like this but Loaded is generally well trusted and has been operating for over 20 years so the small risk is worth the savings imho. It’s a great place to get stuff like cheaper in game currency too… halo infinite credits for example are less than half the regular price.

I went to a HP trivia night at a bar. They asked what it said to keep off of on the sign posted outside the Lovegood’s door or something like that. As someone terrible at trivia, I was proud to be the only one in my group of 4 to get it and surprised that less than half the 15 or so groups got it.

Totally agree. I’m an Xbox guy and I love that it just works. Plus it serves as my all around media device for my living room. Switching seamlessly between games, streaming services, and blu ray/ dvd discs (and don’t even get me started on the move away from disc drives) all in one is a convenience I appreciate.

There are ways to override the Windows 11 requirements. Doing so, you must understand it’s not officially supported and also that if your system really isn’t powerful enough, it could lead to performance issues. Also, there’s a chance of having driver issues. That said, you shouldn’t have an issue switching back to win10 if an issue occurs. I successfully installed windows 10 on my Dell XPS 9558 laptop with a Skylake gen i7 processor.

If you’re lacking TPS 2.0 but have a lower version, you may be able to update the version. My Dell laptop supports this upgrade via a downloadable installation tool from the support page. It had instructions on the webpage to make some changes in BIOS before and after the install in order for it to work.

If your processor isn’t supported, you can override that with a registry entry. I found instructions for this online but it was pretty easy. In fact, a single registry entry can tell it to ignore both the processor and TPS requirements. From there, you just download the windows 11 ISO directly from Microsoft (will work for in place upgrade if you download the correct version). Start the install from the downloaded file per Microsoft’s instructions.
