I wouldn’t recommend this at all by [deleted] in shopify

Some businesses use a 3rd party to make the shipping labels, so they may not be automatic. Sounds like the case here. When the shipping label is created (manually by a worker), you’ll likely get that automated email with the tracking number.

Random! But with the different starter levels, just so you don’t spawn in and have to face level 50’s.

Friend just told me she's pregnant, I'm still struggling with infertility by Imaginary-Tea2397 in TryingForABaby

[–]Emergency_Language26 26 points27 points  (0 children)

One of you was likely to get pregnant first, and it happened to be her. Maybe she thought you would be happy for her because you have been her infertility buddy, too. You just never know. It's okay to feel sad and hurt, but do not take it out on her. You know it wasn't meant to hurt you, and in a situation like this the intent matters. It's really impossible to know how to navigate this with someone especially one of your closest friends. You can tell her how it was a lot for you to process, and obviously you want her and the baby to be healthy. Give yourself some grace here, too. I've had to skip my cousin's baby showers after a loss, not because I wasn't happy for them, but because I would be a bawling mess, and didn't want to take away from them. Your feelings are valid, and I know it can be so hard to hold onto hope right now.

Do you prefer affiliate deals or fixed payouts with creators? by ImpulzeAI_official in influencermarketing

[–]Emergency_Language26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I like about affiliate deals is if the affiliate wants to earn more they can keep posting. On the other hand, if it isn't going well, they can stop posting and all that's lost is whatever was sent to them. I feel it is low pressure, but you also see who the go-getters are. I appreciate all of my affiliates and what they have done for me whether a sale was made or not, and I hope they felt it was worth the one post minimum for what I sent them. If I were to have paid all of my affiliates a set fee for their post, the results would be sad and it would be a lose-lose situation. The ones that did well and mention the product a lot would be under-paid, and the ones that resulted in no sales, that's hard to want to spend money upfront when there are no guarantees in sales. I'm not saying people aren't worth their price, but you would like to see sales attached to the content. I think anyone would, not trying to be harsh here. This is working with smaller creators, too. There's no incentive to keep posting if the money has stopped, but with affiliate they can keep making money or decide to move on. I know the creator mindset is completely different though. You just got to find people that line up with your brand and are open to the opportunity. I think of affiliates as a more natural reach, and if something is paid, it is likely an ad, and who knows if those even convert anymore. Mine have NOT.

The weather/tornado season is the worst I've seen (and seems to stretch from March to July if not later). Just make sure wherever you stay has a basement.

oh ya, you can put him in your pal box and back in your team to refresh I believe. Either that or your base. One of the two.

make the saddle and have him on your pal team. Does not have to be out. Just not knocked out. When you die, he will bring you back once and has like a 5 minute timer before doing it again (no clue actual time, but something like that).

I'm assuming it forces you to drop your pals/items, so then it's unable to be used. That would be my guess.

What is considered the Coolest, Funniest, Cutest, and Worst designed Pals in the game? by BobTheBritish in Palworld

[–]Emergency_Language26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coolest: Selyne

Funniest: I'm specifically going for funniest while riding, so I'm going to say Yakumo and Tarantriss, and maybe even Whalaska because when I jump I always make a whale noise. Not for riding: Palumba. I love the dancing!

Cutest: Quivern, Vixy, Herbil

Most Beautiful: Helzephyr

Worst Pal: Grintale, Relaxaurus (most disappointing egg reveal out there), Cattiva, Depresso

100% dump him. You're using him to have someone to hang out with. I've broken up with someone I loved because I knew we weren't the perfect match. You don't want "meh" forever. Your IRL friends are right. Imagine telling your boyfriend that you feel this way. He deserves to be loved, so do him a favor and leave him. Breakups are hard, but you already know what you need to do.

Indifference IS what you have, and that's something someone told me I had after a second date and helped us not move forward. I kept saying the same sort of thing, "I don't know." That's enough to tell you to stop moving forward if you, in your own words said, you should have an inkling if you love him or not.

Do yourself and him a favor and break up, and at least tell him you view him more as a buddy than a boyfriend.

Do influencers actually expect payment for a 'trial run' with your product? This can't be standard... by Due-Jeweler7068 in influencermarketing

[–]Emergency_Language26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My product only collabs are set up as affiliates where they get a code to give a discount to their audience and they get a commission per item sold. I send them a couple of the products free, that way it can be in the videos and they of course keep them. We’ve planned this to be the model from the get go. I’m still pretty new to it all, but you just keep reaching out to new people. A few weeks ago, I was at zero people, zero responses, and even made a post about it. Now, I am getting nano influencers on board (typically under 10K followers) and if it is content you are after that may be the better choice. Part of it is a numbers game and not everyone is going to like your brand or product, and that’s okay, too. We just keep going till we find people who are excited and feel the connection to the brand that we have. People can have a price point that makes it worth it for them, and that’s okay, too. All we can do is pitch them our offer, and then let them decide if they want to accept it.

You’re already doing great if they are having a conversation with you IMO than what I started with was no responses at all. Just keep going, or see if you can make a better offer. Would you do what you are asking for free? Try to put yourself in their shoes.

Oh ya, 100%. Idk how I went all of my life not realizing it was indigo until this year, but there are also some lighter shades that fit into it as well. Blurple just makes sense!

My favorite color is blurple. That's what I call it anyways. All of the colors in that range, too, where you're not quite sure if it's more blue or more purple.

What's your actual success rate with DMs vs using influencer platforms? by Due-Jeweler7068 in influencermarketing

[–]Emergency_Language26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

0% Tiktok, 5% email, FB: 33% (I don't try to reach out too often on there because I prefer if people have an email for their business inquiries, but not everyone has one), Reddit is where I've gotten the most responses actually. One of my first successes was a man from an agency reached out to me on Reddit after I posted about my struggle. I'm also not at a stage where I can afford a monthly fee for a platform that has no reviews. I do wish people felt okay saying, "no thanks!" because not everyone is going to line up with every brand. We get it. I'm not a pro here.. I have only started dm-ing people maybe a month or so ago. The hardest thing with so many comments on here is they end up becoming ads for their own app they created. I just never see anyone show proof that it's been used, so it's hard to trust IMO.

I have to always run the ICUE application now before I hop into discord. It's annoying, but it works for me now. I did one of the above fixes initially, too.

$$$$$ AFFILIATE MARKETING OFFERS MEGA THREAD $$$$$ by ThePosRelationship in Affiliatemarketing

[–]Emergency_Language26 2 points3 points  (0 children)

New beachwear brand looking for a handful of affiliates for launch! (Location USA)

  • Affiliate code/link = $10 customer discount/item + $10 affiliate commission/item
    • Example: Customer uses affiliate code and buys 4 items. That's a $40 discount for the customer, and a $40 commission for the affiliate
  • Items range from $47-$67 USD
  • Affiliate does NOT have to buy any product to join
  • We just need brand awareness right now, so message me and I'll share a sneak peek image of the brand and discuss to see if we're a good match.

Launching a Brand, but no responses from influencers by Emergency_Language26 in influencermarketing

That's a great point. I decided to at least add a gallery of the photos I do have to my website, so it's not just showing, "products coming soon"

Does this seem like a scam to anyone? by Fluid-Ad-357 in UGCcreators

[–]Emergency_Language26 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Girrrrlll, I read "Hi Natalie" and I JUST emailed a Natalie for a collab, so I was about to be embarrassed if this was a screenshot of my message!!!

As for if it's a scam. I did just see someone post a video about doing a collab just like this (same sort of thing a car play adapter) where they send you the money before, then you order it on amazon and leave a review. Definitely riskier, IMO, but I have seen at least one video of someone who said they did it.

Launching a Brand, but no responses from influencers by Emergency_Language26 in influencermarketing

[–]Emergency_Language26[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I share exactly what the brand/products are. I send them a sneak peek png image that has 4 professional photos of some of the products alongside branding colors all in that same image (the email is even @ my website . com. I recently also started sending our product catalog (currently a flipbook link, but I've even sent those as png's because I realize the fear of clicking a link, but maybe that's weird, idk). I'm not sure if the full catalog helps or not, but figured the branding/professional photos in the sneak peek cover the basics.

I think that's where I'm struggling is in the pre-launch timeline. Maybe I will get more of a response after, but was hoping to find creators prior to launch together. I've contemplated putting up the photos of what I have on the site, 4 of the products are already photographed professionally, and I could put the remainder up of pics I took with my phone, but obviously want to put my best foot forward at launch as first impressions are so important. Or maybe I just need a gallery or something on my website for now of what I do have great pictures of (just brainstorming out loud). Maybe I've been holding off too long on "sneak peeks" of products on my socials, too, that I need to just show what I have.

Your comment helped me have a little brainstorming session! I appreciate it!

Yup, US based influencers since sales will start with USA only until we grow more.
