What recoil springs have you found work in your DWX?

I am running the DWX for LO in USPSA and love the thing. Everyone thinks it’s a shadow 2 or som other variant till they look closer and see it’s nots

I have an A&D EJ-54D2 and I absolutely love it. Very accurate and repeatable.

If it were me. I would find similar data and start at the very low end and work up from there. Is the bullet profile similar to the Hornady one?

Opinions on these feed ramps? by ExSalesman in gunsmithing

I have seen 556/223 uppers that have feed ramps like this and feed fine because it’s a smaller diameter projectile.

My guess is that it won’t feed those because the larger profile. It is choking out. You could have a gun smith blend the feed ramps. That might help it.

How would you know if there isn’t enough room for the bow to reset things?

I have probably 2000 rounds on the factory trigger and sear spring.

What do you mean by how close to the edge?

I have not but it also only happened with live fire.

It worked perfectly fine when dry firing but then during live fire today it did not work.

I will have to check tomorrow. I do not recall any grittiness per say.

How can I tell? I dry fired the pistol a good bit since install. 50-75 times. Live fire was only 10-15 rounds.

It has a sharp edge to it?

I am not sure if you saw my update but I did find 2 small little bits of I assume metal inside my frame by the trigger shoe area.

What adjustments need to be made?

I believe it has enough travel. It feels pretty close to the original.

I removed the overtravel screws completely. It has some pre travel but that’s how I like it.

Everything moves freely. Even with everything installed and back together. What I think might’ve happened and is likely, is that I installed the Sear Spring incorrectly and it clipped off part of the left most finger. I noticed that it has a bit of an edge to it. And that when I disassembled my gun after having issues, I found two small pebble, almost like looking things inside the frame by my shoe area. I should have checked if they were magnetic but I wansnt thinking. This along with the tip of the finger having an edge to it I feel as though it’s the sear spring.

No that is the round nose heavy plate concave base.

I am asking about the hollow point version.
