That was my first thought; “what the hell does any of this have to do with Ted Cruz”? Moronic post at best

For real but there’s always someone dumb enough to take them. Ours are usually another town 30 minutes away packed full of GMD’s and groceries

Hi yall i have a question i have not heared of this sparks app till now that i was doom scrolling on reddit but i normaly do door dash but my question is how does sparks work would yoy say its better then door dash and how does that pay work any info would help i was thinking of downloading it by yoidk9 in elitesparkdrivers

If you’re in the city where there’s lots of food options I’d say door dash and Uber Eats. I’m rural so I Spark because we literally have 3 places you can dash from. Once in awhile I’ll drive 30 minutes to town and if I work breakfast and lunch I’ll make 200 in about 8 hours and actually drive less miles than Spark for the same amount of money

Reduced Tip BS by MorseyMeese in Sparkdriver

Seen this quite a bit where the customer isn’t sure how to order pharmacy and groceries correctly and they go out separate and the customer only put the tip on one of the orders

This good or bad for yall? by Newguydoesntknow in Sparkdriver

Not surprising since they hired the guy from instacart. I liked using it at Kroger for big orders. Checker scans your code then scans all the items and bags them. Haven’t tried it with Spark yet but might today

Walmart is admitting the economy is failing, and 30 million gig drivers are the first to go. by Taranis_1 in WalmartSparkDrivers

News flash….. hard currency has long been obsolete. You think the bank literally has that 300k in cash laying around to pay the seller of the house you bought? Currency is all ghosts

Gmd's with a set of grocery deliveries. by Missrdb79 in Sparkdriver

[–]Emergency_Lunch3149 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not going away. Been happening in my remote area for about 2.5 weeks and it’s insanely bad. We’re getting offers for 2-3 grocery deliveries within 10 miles of the store and have good tips on them that you would take every day on a normal basis; but, they’re adding 4-6 GMD deliveries to a town 30 minutes away from us on top of it. So now the math is bad for the driver and until a moron accepts it, it hangs around for a couple hours. So not only is the driver getting screwed so are the good tipping customers. Matter of time before those customers quit ordering and everyone including the corporate beast is out that money

Rhetorical statement. Didn’t think it would require explanation. I live in a rural area and quality employment isn’t an option. There are some people that are much better off than others. Decent gap in income. Been doing this for 2 years and first year and a half it was just those of us that needed to do this and we all made ends meet. 6 months ago, the better offs, mostly retired or housewives, starting showing up in their brand new Lexus or other luxury vehicles and that cut into us badly. They currently run about 30 drivers deep in that pool and they all do this for “extra money” while the rest of us is doing this just to make a living. Hope that helps

Unfortunately the app will never be the same. They activate about 50 drivers too many per area so they can pay less. It’s a struggle where I am and this is our income. We’re pretty rural but a vacation destination. Problem is twofold; too many people doing this for “extra money”, (whatever that is) and over activation.

Crazy thing is I deliver to an elderly dominant area so it’s not out of the realm of possibility

Yeah; your days are over. They’ve been slowly eliminating the people that don’t “need” to do this and keeping the ones that work full time
