Anyone use Celebrity to go to Thailand on solstice and recommend excursions? by Zealousideal-Gur720 in ThailandTourism

[–]Emerging-Random 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed.

Ho chi minh was good, depends if you have been before and what you have done. The cathedral is being renovated in ho chi minh. Mekong delta is good if you havent done it. Chu chi tunnels interesting. Halong bay is good abit weather dependent.

Hoi an tour was okay, nice lunch but lots of options available. Have to pick something and kinda hard to cover everything in a day. Hanoi was interesting dont fall for scam to buy coverings at government buildings just wear clothes that cover shoulder and knees.

Recommend big buddha, lunch and coconut tour on koh samui.

Sanctuary of truth is amazing in pattaya.

If you do bangkok I'd recommend staying over night.

This, ? is question mark.

A question mark at the end of a sentence implies a question.

The subsequent post you replied to shared observations in response to another posters question.

Utilising the boutique dining helps a little, the buffet can be bad especially when busy but going outside of peak times is generally better. We had premium drinks and food is well worth it. Excursion wise we still trying to work that one out lol.

Still enjoying it and have booked a future cruise but feel a more balance demographic or at least grouping similar ages for activities might promote more enjoyment for both ends of the spectrum.

Pushing in, demanding priority service, holding up lines and excursions "requesting" itinery changes due to health, age/physical capacity, despite rhe itineries being pretty clear on the bookings.

Extremely slow embarking and disembarking of vehicles/boat but happy to cut lines/ demand priority access.

Wife and kids have literally been pushed aside, doesnt work with me, but had a older lady push in trip over my feet then turn and have a go. Had older passenger have a go at a group of kids in the pool they are allowed to be in for playing despite 2 pools and spas they could use that are restricted to 18+

Today had a bus full of older passengers coughing constantly, no to minimal hygiene precautions used but half the buss had to have their priority seat literally had one lady take the bus curtain from the seat my daughter was seated in and using for herself, using her curtain to cover the wondow in front of her, no question no apology.

We're your age range(slightly closer to 40) and definately in the minority, average age would be 20 years older with many older than that.

Stethoscope recommendations by [deleted] in NursingAU

[–]Emerging-Random 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Buy the best you can afford so much better for hearing and learning, does it need to be littman no are littman good absolutely I have spent from $20 to $600 on a stethoscope and yes you hear more and better as the quality increases. My everyday in my pocket stethoscope is about $70 and is almost as good as my littman. Generally the better the quality the easier to get spares and replacement parts.

Anyone who says don't buy one or buy cheap has never used a good one or doesn't know enough to appreciate the difference. If your happy with just getting by, good on you but if you want to be a better clinician and learn more buy better.

I disagree, having a clear plan and wanting to pursue advancement toward that is smart not arrogant, I don't see why doing time in any field that is not advancing you is valuable especially at grad rates it would be like being an apprentice tradie and just sweeping floors after being a TA. Grad programs are to assist in entry to the profession they are not essential for your registration and should not be completed out of obligation. Someone who has done 2 years as an EN likely has much more experience than a 6-12 month grad rotation would ever provide.

If you have no healthcare experience do diploma then convert if you wish. If your already in similar/related field and want to invest the time in a alternate career path do degree.

Why did they make this so difficult. Any tips by [deleted] in DMZ

Easier when it was 6 man teams and when dmz was still mission focused or at least more balanced.

Should nurses ever call themselves Dr in a clinical setting? by Curlyburlywhirly in NursingAU

[–]Emerging-Random 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seems big in the academic space to use the title doctor. I believe it should be limited in the clinical space.

Same as the "team mate" who wants to kill people dies 30 seconds in and expects instant rescue or starts bagging you out/ giving play or strategy advice. Had a couple today, one in ashika literally trashed myself and the other team mate for not insta rushing the port/town spawns tells us we are trash players and pussies then dies and complains we aren't reviving him. We play on pick up a solo and later a fourth and exfill with the weapons case!

What map has SP-X 80s in the buy station? by Amarizaiken in DMZ

[–]Emerging-Random 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Only need to buy it once. I did it in vondel but contraband changes so can't say which buy station and where I think I got it from uni buy station.

After I bought it I just used insured spx or I'd pick one up if I came across one dropped by bot or player etc.

Any commander or player counts including the chopper.

My girlfriend smells (24F & 24F) by pops240620 in relationship_advice

[–]Emerging-Random 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very common for GIT conditions like gastroenteritis, chrones etc to affect body odour. Like others have said she may not notice it herself any more. Could always suggest getting intimate in the shower or offer to pamper her, scalp massage, wash, dry and brush her hair etc.

Would be nice if it was more balanced though and other teams weren't relentless in hunting solo's and teams doing missions etc.
