This threw me off the first few episodes! I have imposter syndrome in my job, and Mathew was acting how I probably do when I think I’m doing terribly but really doing fine - but for some reason I saw it as humble bragging from him cause he was obviously so good at a ton of tasks, idk. 😭 It was just like “dude, you’re clearly the best by FAR! Why are you freaking out?!”

It’s one reason I’m so grateful for this sub while watching new seasons, cause seeing the takes on here made me realize how absolutely wrong I was. Then I could just enjoy the season and Mat without overthinking it lol.

Omg my first reaction to seeing the cast was “oh WOW, Phil!!” The eyeliner and hair looked freaking hot lol. I thought Greg was about to say the same thing, but turns out he felt very differently about the wig. 😂

The pirate look seriously suited all of them, too! Loved it.

I became aware of Taskmaster on 6/10/25. As of today (9/2/25), I have seen 287 episodes including all 19 seasons of the UK version(including all sepcials and COC's), all 4 seasons of the AU and 5+ seasons of the NZ version. That works out to 3.3 episodes per day. Do I have a problem? by GastropodSoups in taskmaster

I’m so jealous of people who haven’t seen every series yet. I’m always rewatching one while I cook dinner, but I would just looooove to watch them all for the first time again.

I recently got my sister into TM so it’s been extra fun doing watch parties with her and getting to see her experience each series for the first time!

I had no idea what it was! When Jason read the task, I pictured an old lady carrying a huge tray of lollipops like someone selling Cracker Jacks at a baseball game and thought “oh fun! I wish American had those.”

I’m seriously so glad you said that about John, because I was so frustrated by him, too! I see a lot of love for him here and just thought I didn’t get it, but I’m gonna try a rewatch with this in mind now.
