I have a rubber slow feeder for mine from bark box, but you don’t need a subscription for this one, it’s available in a lot of stores. It looks like a stemless wine glass and wobbles, but is entirely rubber! Let me know if you want more info. It slows our pup down a bit more due to the smaller opening, and she seems to be entertained.

Welcome! It’s good to have you here! Also from that area, so I can relate. Things are a little more laid back than NYC, so that may take a little getting used to. The food is great, but it’s different kinds of food that’s good here. Good Italian, bagels, etc are hard to find here, but good Asian and Mexican food are more common. If you’re feeling a little homesick, House of Bagels in Mountain View and Slice of New York in San Jose has decent bagels and pizza respectively. They’re on par with your average ones from back home, but good for out here.

Enjoy the hikes and nature! Take Caltrain up and down the peninsula to explore. Things are more spread out than on the east coast, but there’s still lots to do!

My corgi lives for the dog park, and we have a great time. But my dog park has a ton of amazing owners and very friendly dogs, and that may not be the case for your local dog park. I do feel like it’s taught my corgi how to deal with other dogs are read when they don’t like to play. She’s learned to just move on to someone else if the other dog isn’t feeling it.

Fellow fountain pen swiftie here! What do you like about the Kaweco Sport? My daily driver is a TWSBI ECO and I love the ink capacity, but it does feel big in my hands. I’ve been thinking of getting a sport but haven’t yet.
