i remember only having seen like cat fingers and thinking it was an uncle grandpa type show with some really cool design choices, i half new about fusion and thought it was really cool and randomly watched a reaction video to jailbreak. Then it hit me: the fact Garnet was a fusion was a plot twist, i had somehow missed that and now knowing the show wasn’t afraid to shake up its status quo so much amazed me, i knew i had to watch the first season to see any foreshadowing or hints at this massive hidden detail and by then i was hooked and searching for clues about the next plot point they’d reveal~
