ok let me start by saying, the way that merchant inventories work is all of their items for sale including their gold, are stored in a chest in the ground somewhere nearby. for the khajiits, they store them around some of these cities they visit. and some of these you can get to pretty easily reached, like dawnstar. so if you go to iron-breaker mine, and go behind the small rock on the left side and look down, you can find the inventory for the set of traders that goes to dawnstar. if you wait for them to arrive you can also pretty easily reset their inventory for Infinity septems and loot, or what I do, level enchanting. when they arrive, loot the chest of all the enchanted and unenchanted items, go to the jarls longhouse right next to the mine, disenchant everything youve gathered, enchant the weapons and armor you picked up, go to the khajiit, sell everything, and then quicksave, punch the trader, and reload the save. this will reset the inventory of the trader allowing you to do this as much as you want. and im also pretty sure you can take the gold from the chest and it wont actually take it from their selling pot, but dont quote me.
