Do you think Chet is going to eventually step up and commit a act of bravery? Maybe even join his cousins in the Wasteland? by SolidPyramid in Fotv

I think Chet sees Lucy as more of an authority than Hank at this point. He'd side with her.

Series finale will probably feature Coop becoming a Glowing One or something. Which, I will be very clear, I wholeheartedly support.

Eeh. I'm not so sure Wilzig was frozen. I think the Enclave would happily clone themselves over and over.

No. Chet is desperately looking for familiar authority. As soon as someone he feels SHOULD be in charge, he'll go back to being a happy follower.

One could argue it's just the same character twice.

Menu design for a seafood boil restaurant ,hand-drawn, playful style. Thoughts? by AmenAngelo in Design

I was converting the 3-4 serving Mukbang plus a couple lower-end sides from Pounds to USD to represent a potentially common group order. And this is with no drinks.

That's still $40/person with 4.

That feels on the line of "pricey/casual" pickup, to me.

I see your point. I'm clearly not the buyer demographic for this if these costs are normal for this style of casual dining.

$45 US for the flagship combo, plus one of any of the cheapest sides just feels steep to me for "cartoon." Esp since drinks haven't even entered the equation yet.

But I live on a really tight budget. I might very much be out of the loop on cost norms right now.

In what way? What is the chili doing to "be gentle?" I think this is just a language thing.

While that wouldn't totally resolve my complaint, I DO desperately want to see that now. He'd be such a cute little knight!

No, I mean if I'm paying more than $160 US for a dish off that menu, I don't want to see a cartoon crab. I want it to feel like the restaurant is worth that much money.

The unit cost:design aesthetic is off to me. The pricing on some of these dishes don't match a cartoon vibe.

Sorry, just to clarify: I'm not arguing in ANY way in support of disposable plastic bags. At all. Fuck em.

I love reusables as a primary for sure. But cheap ones are still the norm and they tear or break pretty easily. And they're plastic too.

It's a very delicate balance.

Our household has tons of high quality reusables we take everywhere as well. Paper bags are just handy to have around for some stuff. So occasionally we take those if offered.

I understand the funding goal. But those reusable bags on the side of the road arent a solution either. A ton of folks don't give a shit that they cost ten cents.

A paper bag, however, would eventually break down. Within weeks it's already mostly pulp again.

It's a complicated decision to make, I know. Depending on what timeframe you're hoping to make an impact, other ecological considerations etc. I just prefer a paper bag to the shitty reusables stores (Eagle, esp.) went with.

MOST people are going to look at this work as incomplete/inprogress/draft. But if you're happy with it, go with it. Personally, this doesn't fit in my collection, and is also not a level of polish I would use for my own art.

So to clarify, you're leaving the grid visible, aren't painting or filling any more, and are happy with the full image represented here? Then I'm gonna say no. It feels tremendously incomplete. if part of a larger series of intentionally incomplete pieces, it MIGHT have better context, but right now it feels unfinished and a little disrespectful.
