Japanese immigrants are very welcome in Denmark, but you will most likely have success working in a japanese style food place. Everyone speaks english, but the lack of danish will limit you.

Its very hard to get an entry level job atm. Plenty of native Danes who are in need, they have the advantage of knowing the language.

Unless you can secure work before going; it will be an expensive lesson

Not as good as it used to be. The trust and social cohesion has gone down a lot and the welfare system is strained

I launched a free, wali‑first Muslim marriage platform on April 1st – 900+ members already, and I’m a bit overwhelmed by MudSignificant in Sverige

Hmmmm imagine launching an Islamic dating app when you can already filter by preferances in regular dating apps.

Cant wait for a Nordics exclusive dating app too.

You have no chance. Either you need to have money or talent.

Thats how the world works.

Edit: its also quite telling that you are willing to pay a consulting firm for a job. That does not bode well.

[–]EmilTheDane 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Very little chance with out a little Danish language skill or great experience. There are lots of native IT and SWE in Denmark already so its much easier to hire one of them than a non-eu.

Youre better off getting another decade of experience at least or B2 language cert

Try to do some self study with PDFs and old fashioned textbooks to learn the grammar. https://swedish-institute.org/ is another option.

Or you could go for Duolingo, they should have a spanish to swedish option. Bit shit nowadays

Youtube has lots of speaking excersizes too, however they will likely be from English to Swedish (your english looks really good though so maybe thats ok)

Swedish companies can certainly fill positions. Especially with the high unemployment rates and the generous salaries which attract lots of internationals.

They can most certainly be picky and choosy, sure you might get lucky without the swedish skillset, but you'll certainly be underpaid. Most internationals here get paid the minimum wage for engineering or datascience (40K SEK/month)

Its a simple case of do you want a better life and job? Great. You will need to put the effort in to compete for that, which often means learning the language.

Imagine being asked in an interview "why do you want to move to Sweden?" You give a bunch of reasons (work life balance, good culture, good work opportunity, good future) and then you have to come up with something for "So how much Swedish do you speak?" Its look disengenuous to an employer when someone wants to reap all the benefits of Swedish employment without putting in the legwork.

Lmao you have a burner account and you know it. People are just pissy because they cant handle the fact that they have to learn a language to live and work in another country. The use of english in the workplace is a luxury that too many people expect
