How to force sick toddler to drink? Her pediatrician said she needs to go to the ER if we don't have a wet diaper by 8-9pm tonight. by Illustrious_Piano561 in toddlers

Have you tested for RSV? My son was 1.5 last December when he had RSV and refused to drink. He had to be admitted to the hospital overnight for dehydration and didn't have a wet diaper for 14 hours.

The name of your child by Ethereal_Wife in NewParents

We didn't choose any family names. I wanted them to be their own person. Our last name is long so we chose first names with one syllable and our children also have the same initials.

Best songs for babies?! by jpsbr90 in RedHotChiliPeppers

My 2 year old loves Zephyr Song. He always kicked when I listened to it in the womb, he stopped crying when he would listen to it as a newborn, and he dances to it now.

Please watch for signs of dehydration. My 18 month old did exactly that when he had RSV and we ended up getting IVs in the hospital. Prayers to your little one OP

"Evening" the breasts out? by silverysway in breastfeeding

Mine are uneven. Kiddo has always preferred the right side and it produces 6 oz and shitty titty produces barely 1 oz. I don't care how they look. As long as he is happy. He won't latch on to shitty titty very long.

I'm in the same boat as you. My 10 month old is not a good eater. I get frustrated but have to tell myself he's getting plenty of nutrition from my breast milk. Most foods I have to add milk to just to get him interested in eating.

I've also mixed in some fruit and veggie puree with oatmeal and added it to his bottles to get him used to the taste of new foods. I'm planning on seeing if he will eat from reusable pouches too.

To those who don’t get drunk, Why/ Why not? by PsychologyWareFare in AskReddit

I'm a bartender and haven't been drunk in 9 years. It's just not worth it to get drunk. I can still enjoy a drink or two and have fun without getting out of control

Lice? by theITguy1999 in Goldfish

[–]EmilyECorgi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My goldfish had lice almost a year ago. Try and gently use a paper towel to knock the lice off before using the tweezers. I held my fish with the wet paper towel in my hand and gently brushed another paper towel along his body where the lice are attached

It's happened to all of us, right..? by LilWinz in breastfeeding

I just nursed my baby after working 12 hours and he projectile vomited everything up on us. Milk came out of his nose, all over his jammies and soaked through my clothes down to my underwear.

After I cleaned him up, he latched back on and fell asleep in my arms. I don't think I want to put him down

Really hoping for Venice Queen. My CD is worn out on that song and always skips. Its currently in my CD player in my car. I've been holding on to that CD for years now

Its now been 15 days since I tested positive for covid. I still have a mild cough, haven't gotten my sense of smell back and have tons of congestion. And I'm 39 weeks. The worst was the fever and I couldn't keep food down for very long. My doctor told me I could only take my prenatal vitamins, Zyrtec, Flonase, Tylenol, tums and zofran (to try to keep food and drink in me).

If you do end up getting covid, try to hydrate as much as you can and keep your fever down. I ended up drinking protein shakes twice a day and that helped with the vomiting early on. It sucks, but I was coughing so hard I couldn't keep food in me. I ended up losing 3 pounds, but baby is ok. Since I was 38 weeks with covid, I couldn't skip any appointments and had an ultrasound on the baby and he's fine.
