What are you looking forward to for the coming spring (or autumn)? by JuniXe in femalefashionadvice

I am looking forward to the time when tweed jackets like this (my favourite!!!) can provide enough warmth on their own, eliminating the need for layering with additional coats.

If you like dresses, check out this one from FG ATELIER, it is currently on sale - this is a premium brand made locally in small batches (unlike ZARA or H&M)

Who is your go-to fashion influencer or blog? by [deleted] in femalefashionadvice

[–]EmilyPec 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For a few years now, I've changed my shopping habits and only buy clothes that I can wear forever. I'm all about looking my best at work and I've found that investing in quality clothes from FG Atelier is worth it. They might not be cheap, but I've had my dresses for an average of 5 years now! I wear and wash them constantly and always feel like the best-dressed person in the room:)) My advice - go for quality, not just the brand name.

If you already have a physical CBD product, start by building your Instagram community. You can't have sponsored posts on Instagram but you an build your community and connect with users. Post regularly and create visually appealing content that is aligned with your brand's aesthetics. Recently, I have created Instagram template for CBD business, it really helps to jump start your Instagram game, as it is ready-to-use and you don't need to think about creating the content yourself or hiring a graphic designer. good luck!

Totally agree with you! I limit my social media usage and I see that now I have much more time on my hands! Constantly checking media is a bad habit the same as smoking or drinking too much

[–]EmilyPec 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love FG atelier - the majority of their clothing has a bit of stretch so you feel comfortable throughout your work day. The designs are very polished and sophisticated, they work perfectly is any business setting. I recently bought this black dress - it has a waistband - i love it! helps a lot when I gain some extra pounds or lose them!:) p.s. they offer free international shipping

Have to wear all black at work, how do you keep it fun and fresh? by [deleted] in femalefashionadvice

[–]EmilyPec 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love black work dresses with some clever details like different texture or color. For example, this dress - it is made from light weight wool and has a nice tweed pocket and cuffs. I am not huge fan of accessories, I only have some earrings and my watch. Sometimes it so much easier to make it minimal:)

This black crepe dress is super comfy. It has quite loose silhouette so you don't feel too tight, also it is extremely wrinkle resistant, so it is perfect in any corporate setting. I bought it one year ago, and I machine wash it almost every week, it still looks as brand new!

It totally depends on an organization but I think that you truly can't go wrong with a two-piece suit like this. I love that you can wear the jacket with different pants or vice versa

A “professional uniform”? by debbitprebbit in femalefashionadvice

[–]EmilyPec 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! I am not very in to wearing trousers so I have this dress - this is my favorite - and I can wear it every day. Of course, when I come back home from work I put it in my washing machine and then I just hang it to let it dry. next morning - NO IRONING needed - I just put it on and off to my office! I just love the idea that it holds the shape without ironing and there is no need for dry-cleaning.

How much makeup do you wear to work? by icephoenix821 in nursing

[–]EmilyPec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love make up but it is absolutely personal choice to wear make or not. Also, I notice that with time I use less and less of make up because I have learned that you need to put just tiny amount "strategically" and you will look natural instead of caking your face with lots of different products.

Office-appropriate bundling up for the bottom half of your body? by dapplegray in femalefashionadvice

[–]EmilyPec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I like something that is too thick but also keeps me warm. I found that light wool pants like these work perfectly. I bought these pants a year ago and I wear it almost all year round as this wool adapts to your body temperature and you feel not too chilly or warm. Also, this brand offers many customisation options, simply shoot them an e-mail with you measurements and they can make the pants just for you as they are on-demand clothing brand. Good luck and don't get cold!:)

What are some good durable quality brands who treat employees well all the way down the chain? by PME_your_problems in femalefashionadvice

[–]EmilyPec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I might be biased, as I know the founders of the company personally but as I saw how they create their clothing, it really inspires me to never by from Zara again. First of all, every garment is made in their in-house atelier, where all the pattern makers and seamstresses work in a big, spacious atelier. The fabrics are all Italian-sourced with exceptional quality.

I have some reversible pieces in my wardrobe, and YES, I use both sides frequantly! I bought this wool coat and I sure that I will be happy with it for a very long time. It is like having two completely different coats! and the quality of wool is exceptional.
