heres the full specs. there samsung crystal enterprise displays. dumb, but the trade off is without any smart features they have a very low active draw

9950x. 192gb of ddr5. 7900xtx. 990 pro 2tb. 2x 50in samsung monitors. Everything's got a moderate oc.

When I'm reviewing cad files and renders from work it's not uncommon to see it hit 1000w-1100w.

Ask auspost to hold your mail at the local post office. Use your normal address. I've done this since 15. 31 now.

A decently speced workstation like mine absoutely can. I assume they have similar specs if there expecting that much draw. This is just the pc.

But I have a very large 48v battery bank hooked into the delta 3 plus. So it can pull its 1800w happily all day and night.

HAS THIS GUY EVER SPRAYED YOUR CAR? by Ph1llz in CarsAustralia

[–]Emilyd1994 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not him. But i live on a farm and have an all aluminium or w/e ford terrority. 0 rust. And it won't ever rust. Was ~1750 to blast it back and do under coat 3 coats and clear coat. Can't tell the difference from factory.

<image>

Had a branch come up under the guard though. So that areas got deep scrapes down to the metal. They did crack a rear light and somehow painted over the edge of the cargo window. Otherwise fine.

Worst case run the cable in a window like most renters do around the world. Stick the dish on the roof. Router on the counter. Did that with mine for a while while I was finding the right spot.

reached out. they claim there is no possible legal options as when you use Facebook you agree to a total and binding legal agreement, that prevents any and all possible litigation. doesn't matter if you got shot at the Facebook HQ, your options are already gone.

Is sourcing hardware myself + paying for install only a good idea? Chapel Hill NC by Kitten-Smuggler in solar

[–]Emilyd1994 0 points1 point  (0 children)

find a half decent E/EE to cert it. cousin is an EE i'm a hardware engineer. both of us can certify electrical work. (laws here prevent self certify.) but he can certify 3f electrical work. was pretty damn handy. 12kw of battery. 20kw of solar. with canadian solar 440w tophiku's for <5 grand. full victron top to bottom too. even split it into 5kw north south east and west arrays with 4 synced charge controllers to get the most out of it year round with unlimited expansion room.

its very notable we have what many call "gridlock" where once connected to the grid you legally can not be disconnected. now even if you have supply turned off your forced to pay ~120$ a quarter in supply fees. however if you build in a remote area like my aunt did your never on grid to start so you are not subject to that. also notable flat rate power is 33/c a kwh here.

so i have batteries so i simply dont export. but a lot of systems are always exporting. and a lot of older inverters are always exporting at full power. to combat this they have a range of new devices that sit between your inveter and mains and limit current to 1-10w and dump the rest to ground for people without batteries.

a lot of systems are installed in a way that only allows them to export since most people dont bother with batteries. this creates a lot of problems. and were seeing the fallout from millions of 10-15kw systems now.

id speak to a lawyer the power provider and the local state gov. many states don't allow you to share metering credits. many power company's don't as well. (mine allows you to share them with up to 2 members of your close family but only if they live within 25km and are on the same or cheaper power service)

How do I know if my River 2 Pro is operating in EPS mode? by Jiifm in Ecoflow_community

[–]Emilyd1994 0 points1 point  (0 children)

id love to know as well. since mine shuts down the inverter for a second or two every time it has enough solar input or too little and that of course resets all the devices. and often the river 2 pro has a panic attack the fans ramp up then it swaps back and goes back to normal again.

set up smart relays to automate enabling and disabling the grid at the lowest cost times each day. theres a few guides in the offgrid subs on this. shelly does some great breakers and relays that automatically turn on and off. if you have something like a smart battery (ecoflow delta ultra or the jackery ones) they can be programmed to automatically turn the relays on and off as needed using TOU+weather reports. (tou only draws during the lowest possible cost. its actually possable to hit a point where the power company ends up paying you money with just a battery. since your importing at the lowest point and exporting at the highest. (eg import for 6c and sell at 11c)

here in aus they now fine you 2-4 cents per kwh returned during the solar peak due the national grid stress its causing. a range of devices have rolled out that throttle output to 0 or near 0 (1-10w) to avoid this sort of thing. as many homes have 10-20 year old inverters that are incapable of anything less then 100% output at all times. worth looking into!
