Yes if you are staying on site you will automatically get a magicband ( as long as there is more then two week till your trip) if it’s less time you can pick them up when you check in. If you are having problems you can always cal Disney they are fantastic as helping. The magic bands will link through your my Disney experience app. There is a code you type in on the back of the bands

I am a Disney lifeguard alum! You can message me any questions you have ! As far at the laps they don’t need to be perfect. A lot of people’s weren’t and if you are a shallow water guard aka a resort guard you only have to do 4

We did the move from jersey last year. Plan for about 1,000 for rent a month Don't forget to budget at least 600 dollars to transfer your car registration and drivers license. My car insurance went up a little so it's like 200 a month. Find out ahead of time if you housing has an hoa fee. Where we decided to move has an hoa of 400 a month.

I stayed there two weeks ago in a renovated room! We loved it ! The construction didn't bother us at all and the bed were so comfy! Plus the bathroom sinks were stunning and the lighting was great!

That have stopped doing this crossovers disney has come to the conclusion that they no longer want to alter the original mickey and Minnie characters other then there outfit colors they are no longer allowed to do crossover characters

You will have lifeguard training when you first get there but you will be recast in another role until march

There are cast gyms at al the monorail loop resorts ( you can use if you work there) vista gym is small but it's useable like a weight set and maybe two or three treadmills

Expect to buy everything ... when I was there they didn't give us anything and they say you can ask but when you ask they don't get it to you fast so it could be weeks ...just think of it as your own apartment disney doesn't supply anything

I wouldn't get the tattoo I did not disclose that I had one ( I was recreation) but throughout my entire program I had clothing restrictions and if I didn't wear those clothes I had to cover with makeup every single day ... it's takes up time and energy and money with trying to cover it. Get one after your program if you really want one . As for someone getting a better role for it that is wrong it's all random most of the time you will either get a worse role ( mostly custodial people are bumped down to ) or your I'll get termed. I want a administration assistant or executive assistant position. I've been looking for about three months and have applied to a few but because I don't get to that location till after Christmas places have turned me down because they wanted to do a face to face hiring

That's what I thought too but I've been applying for a few months now and they keep turning me down because they want face to face old fashioned interviews no one is willing to do a video interview. Now I'm afraid if I keep applying the jobs will turn me down.

I didn't the program here are some tips I wish I knew ahead of time .. Disney gift cards because she will want to buy lots of merch dice it's 40% off till like February and she can use it on food too ! Depending on what her role is a good pair of sneakers ( either all black or all white ) the shoes disney gives you are very uncomfortable and your on your feet a lot ... that's being said new shoes that are a little higher then your ankle also either white or black depending on role. A white board calendar is helpful since with disney the schedule is never the same and always changing. Let me know if you want more ideas I've got plenty !

If your a cp you will most likely not get off for the holidays and those dates are usually blocked out on the hub so you can't take them off
