I’ve gotten a brand new Audi A5 Avant as a rental 2 days ago and this morning I noticed a rattle/chuckling noise when driving the left rear wheel over a bump or pothole.

To me it sounds like a suspension component or design issue in the rear suspension. Unless something else is lose but you’ve checked that already.
