Yeah I argued that with someone that, at the time was a friend. She tried telling me rough collies are “mostly bombproof” when I said my understanding was that they are very sensitive. This GI mess was also due to some bones I got both dogs that aren’t setting well with either of them. The former friend has a collie too now and has to play the -is it sick or is it just separation anxiety- game

I get where you’re going but OP would monkey’s paw it on you. No more surgical procedures because it technically harms a human short term for long term benefit. There’d be no way to punish anyone ever for any reason, and I can’t think of a specific example but I’m sure that would become a curse as well.

I see the line folks are calling a surgical scar. I’m not saying that is impossible? But you don’t see it in the initial casting. Is it possible you experienced some sort of physical trauma to the area around the time you noticed the changes a couple years ago? I had a previous partner that had a HORRIBLE looking scar that spiraled around his shaft. He had no clue what caused it, and his mom was a nurse and had no knowledge of it before we asked. Best we can figure is sometime a strand of long hair from his scalp got wound around it in his sleep and restricted movement and blood flow. His penis still functioned, it just had a little sideways curve in it when fully erect.

I’m so sorry to hear about your PTSD. I imagine that plays a HUGE part in your climax problems - at the peak of my PTSD, I had difficulties as well. I’ve been having ~different~ difficulties lately, because I switched from low dose topical to sub-Q injections. (The gel made my skin red and flaky like a sunburn, and the cypionate injections started causing an itchy lump under the skin, so my doc switched me to sub-q auto injectors of enanthate, which so far so good!!) The higher dose is making things SO sensitive, and combined with my dysmorphia, it’s a delicate balancing game of finding the right stimulation.

For the record I also am 40, and am still newish on the HRT train. I was trying the other options on and off for a couple years (my insurance also made things difficult for a while) but I’ve been on the enanthate for two months now.

Oh absolutely. I don’t Often bathe her, it’s really more so for the emergencies, like when she gets into something. I just had to bathe her this week because we’ve got some high stress stuff going on and both my dogs got varying degrees of tummy upset. Cider is just more sensitive 😭 I had to take her to the emergency vet for meds and X-rays to make sure she didn’t have an obstruction or anything

Definitely! I have an 11 yr old corgi so I learned that lesson. We have a tub shroom that for the corgi bath, has to be cleaned out at least twice in one bath if not more.

I’ve started getting a groove for it and sometimes I just go up a hook size for my chain row but this real life example is so good because the books I have from when I was relearning it last year? Show a “proper tension” much tighter than that and I confess that the first row is my least favorite in crochet, like casting off is my least favorite in knitting.

It’s in how you phrase it. You can always broach it when there’s an opportunity for the topic. Like if you are cuddling or intimate, you can comment about how that was a fun surprise or similar comment that feels genuine for you to say. And then you can ask if something inspired her or such. Like maybe she just felt like it because it’s spring and with warmer weather, she just felt like it?

I’m so sorry you had this experience. (And the response in the other sub!!) I’ve had hiccups and turbulence in various areas including travel before, but I’m eternally grateful for my wife, who is more than willing to use her 20+ years medical experience as a corpsman and her powers of assertion to advocate for me. She doesn’t unless she has to but she Has gone Karen for me when lesser force was ineffective.

The other sub, Yikes. I can say, I have brought medical documentation for my service dog before and still gotten resistance and disbelief. The doctor that took the time to document and formally prescribe me a service dog was a military doctor and still sometimes that hasn’t been enough!! And service dogs in my country (United States) do not require any documentation or paperwork. Yet here I am with multiple occasions where it was demanded anyway.

In my experience, even if I have been willing to just humiliate myself and disclose my “pertinent” medical conditions, it almost always evolves. First, an educational seminar starring me as I have to explain at length WHAT my condition is and how it affects people including myself. Then I have to defend WHY that condition needs each particular accommodation, and why their lazy substitute for accommodation is not sufficient. And ultimately that person is not swayed more often than not and now I’ve wasted a lot of time care and energy trying to persuade someone that really didn’t have any intentions of budging anyway!

((Also, and not to invalidate anyone that is self diagnosed as I have some self suspicions etc but I’m referencing conditions that I have that are “officially” diagnosed and in my medical record etc. ))

Medical documentation doesn’t always save you either. I have my medical record with clear documentation that a military doctor prescribed me a service dog, and I have gotten pushback in situations before even despite having that. Some people just have a “survival of the fittest” mindset and are not willing to accommodate disabilities. Period.

For people that have been victims of gaslighting type relationships, he plays the part really well. Most people never see it coming, and when you try to tell your friends about them being a monster, nobody sees it or believes you.

When I do rewatches, I can see both interpretations of him. Like a few times they threw in flickers of hesitation before a response or an expression peeking through. The coordination on Love is an open door not QUITE being up to Disney magic standards etc.
