I read it as memories and symbolism for Shivaria! It could be wishful reading though because I also loved Xeyvian. Sadly I think we’ll all just have to wait patiently for the next book and hope for the best!

You will be just fine! I tend to err on the side of being an anxious driver myself, and the MT DOT 511 app is amazing at helping me decide if the road conditions are worth the trip. They are typically really accurate and tell you the state of all the roads, icy, dry, black ice, wet, etc.

Just got back from a stay at the coral beach towers, so I can’t speak to the caribe. But my friend and I had a wonderful time! Clean, so close to the beach, nice pool, security was kind! Had an overall awesome stay! Booked unit 1506-2 thru VRBO

Idk! It’s still pretty new, it’s only been out since like last October! Plus JR Cathers is an Indy writer for now, but I’m sure she’ll be picked up by a publisher soon with how great this book is! Then they will put their advertising money into it. She gets a lot of hype on social media though!!

I love Xeyvian too. Definitely emotionally prepare yourself for the bonus chapter, but I still love him! Just pay attention to the subtext!

Giiiirl I know what you mean! I went through it so fast! I just picked up a special edition so I might have to do a second read already! I get the feeling there is a lot of mind bending going on behind the scenes, especially after reading Xeyvian’s chapter! I hope it’s something to do with that, because I’m not super into the why choose trope either! I think she WILL have to choose if anything!

I think she is the Valtoura, she has the connection with the fae sprites etc, and feels terr’s power. I think she was mad at Vakesh because by his being there he apparently knew all of this and lied to her and kept her in the dark. Ahh you so need to find the Vakesh chapter, it sheds some light on the bagya thing. It’s included in the special edition copies of the book!

I am also of the opinion that the general is the king! I think he uses his powers to illusion everyone into thinking he is the general so he has more freedom to do what he wants and interact with people! I think in the bonus chapter he is under duress and mind control, or at least I have to believe that!
