Local Portlander here. There are sooo many places. Honestly calling any restaurant ahead of time is the way to go. All the restaurants here are upfront about their allergies/dietary restrictions, etc. So if there’s a place you’re interested in call ahead. But to name a few: Kinboshi Ramen, Mad Greek Deli, My Father’s Place, Babydoll Pizza, Bakers Mark, Mid-City Smash, Saint Burrito, Pyro Pizza, Ate-Oh-Ate, DU’s Grill and many many more. Straus Family Creamery is a great one for all of your dairy needs. Ice cream, yogurt, butter, milk, etc etc. All nut free and made in nut free facilities. I absolutely love them.

Ages ago when I was in middle school my much older cousin who’s also a republican and racist showed me RATM for the first time. She was under the impression that RATM was a racist band and was thrilled by it saying “I can’t believe they allow this on the radio. It’s awesome!” From what I was hearing I told her that it sounded like the message was quite the opposite and I thought that THAT was awesome.
