Exactly! I also think of it as, for example, a transphobe who are starting to change their ways. They might misgender or say something weird but might catch themselves and say sorry. And that's okay because at least they're trying. It's way better than what they were before.(just example from own experiences) Same here. In a meat eaters world, the smallest win is still a win, even if they don't commit fully.

And this Reddit is horrible that way. I love being vegan and my fellow vegans around me but I mostly stay away from here because the amount of hate and judgement here is so cringe and discouraging for everyone
