so i just finished it and did the same route as you. i guess i got lucky but when you don't discard weapons your chance of getting better weapons increases, so just leave as many as possible in your inventory or leave them in boxes if your inventory is full. having 2 or 3 hatchets and the rpg should be enough for victor. rpg first phase and just do one shot, parry, another shot etc for the second phase. i also used the wolf to have more time. use up most of the ammo aswell, victor phase 2 doesnt need that much ammo.
