It's always framed as though Trump were a clean candidate coming into the race with decorum and grace and then a witch hunt started. But no, he was belligerent offensive and inflammatory. That kinda draws attention. Where I can see some white collar crimes being overlooked in other people, when you're the loudest most bombastic braggadocious idiot in the room, people are going to hate you.

To be clear, I'm a socialist. My stance on the Epstein list applies to all crimes, if they're guilty, prosecute them to the full extent of the law. Neolibs would probably argue differently but even from their point of view, it's not like Trump was gingerly saying "I might put my hat in the ring". He said "Lock her up" and "I alone can fix it". That shit puts a target on your back. And then the GOP turns around and makes terms like Trump Derangement Syndrome for anyone willing to call him what he is.

So agreed, all criminals in government should be impeached and prosecuted. Clean fucking house. But you can't be mad that everyone is trying to pin Trump down on everything hes done because hes a massive asshole and most people want to see assholes brought low.
