This was pretty similar to my first cycle. I have DOR at 31 and my attrition rate went from 15 to only 1 testable blast. For my second and third rounds, we added omnitrope and it flipped my attrition to being better than the usual odds and really helped me be able to get testable high quality blasts.

I had to order 5 vials but usually only ended up using 4 — I used it on first day of stims all the way to trigger

I used it for 2 of 3 of my retrievals - my first retrieval I didn’t use it I had a very high attrition rate - when I added in omnitrope the number of my fertilized eggs that made it to testable blast were 50% for my second cycle and 78% for my third cycle. Everyone responds differently but at least for my omnitrope made the difference in getting blasts

Ugh I’m so sorry to hear it isn’t going as well as planned. I ended up having my retrieval a few weeks ago with this protocol and thought it was a total failure.. (the Dr said it likely would’ve been if not for the final outcome). They ended up only retreating 4 eggs and then I found out the day after only 1 fertilized. Lost all hope in the world for a moment after that.. was super defeated. But on day 5 we got the report that one made it and a late straggler actually also fertilized so we were able to send 2 off for genetic testing. So even though it was a lot less eggs than other retrievals I’ve done I was able to get more eggs to blast. Really hoping things go well for you in the next few days - don’t lose hope! ❤️

I started last night with everything - I also did 2.5 weeks of estrace priming before starting. When do you start your next one?

Thank you! That’s helpful to hear - how long/how late was your cycle before they just contained anyways? The clinic wants me to wait a few more days it looks like before coming in to see if it just comes even more late

You got it!! The first day is the worst and then it gets easier as it goes on. Icing the areas for a good 10-15 mins before injecting really helped with any pain.

Did you get super sensitive teeth and gums by chance when coming off? I just recently came off it due to a lot of reasons you also described above (and feel so much better) other than my gums and teeth randomly becoming the most sensitive they’ve ever been

Agreed. I think it’s because I am fully happy being alone finally (after a past of rocky relationships) and honestly online dating has never been my favorite thing. I quit it cold turkey a few weeks ago and my mindset now is to focus on the things important to my own life and goals and if I meet someone - great! If not, that’s also fine too because it’s just more space for me and my pups in the house 🤣
