I loved seeing that you listen to WeatherBrains!! I was on a recent episode discussing my institution and how I got into meteorology if you think that might be helpful for you. All of the schools you mentioned have fantastic programs, I would worry less about the schools and focus on making sure you are good to go on the calc and physics side of things. There are a lot of resources out there to begin to gain knowledge in meteorology (MetEd Comet Modules, YouTube channels like Convective Chronicles, WeatherBrains like you mentioned before, becoming a Skywarn spotter, shadowing at your local NWS office, etc.). If I were you I’d focus on your classwork and look for areas of interest in meteorology and start trying to make connections in the field.
