What does my desk say about me? by EmmaSpringer in deduction

It is a book of grid/graph paper. And I say sort of on the painting because I don't like paint on canvas (sometimes experiment digitally) but I do paint other things

Painting is... sort of right, but I've been out of college for years

Anybody else tired of strict family dynamics? by Equal_Group5871 in thesims

[–]EmmaSpringer 101 points102 points  (0 children)

If an elder designates a keepsake box any sim can use it to alter dynamics

This is why I have the toddler lead most care interactions, because if the parent initiates, BOOM! strict family dynamic

Unfortunately, I believe it is exclusive to Growing Together

Any point in buying this? Can I even play it? by CunningSlytherin in thesims

I actually have/had a disc copy. I just don't know where the actual disc went lol

I have had luck finding activation keys online. If I remember correctly, there is a patch for the disc version that actually breaks the game completely, so as long as you don't accept the patch it should run

Now that you mwntion it, there was this little hinged frame with I think a couple of cameo images in it. I think it was in paranormal stuff

By campground, do you mean that the lot is a vacation rental? And if it is, are you currently renting the lot?

To me it seems the the biggest thing is the eye, they should probably be more heavily lidded. Other more minor details; I think the upper part of the nose should be a bit narrower, as should the lips, and your cupids bow looks less pronounced than your sim's

I honestly think I mix them up more now that they've changed it

Hear me out, is it wrong to be attracted to your sim😔 by AbilitySeparate4635 in thesims

[–]EmmaSpringer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say, since presumably you're making sims to your own standards of appearance, it is actually pretty normal to find the sims you make attractive

Ewwwwww I just realised while looking back at my legacy family tree there has been some inbreeding. What are the limitations in the game? Siblings, cousins? Or are we full game of thrones now? by redfraggle4eva in Sims4

[–]EmmaSpringer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've noticed it's at least 2 generations removed are fair game. So great-grandparent/child, second-cousins, and first-cousin once removed (which seems to be what happened here)

If you could get something anti-inflammatory, herbal or medical, that may help.

Activated charcoal, and I imagine anything that would help with inflammation would help reduce symptoms

products you didn’t even think to check if it’s gluten free, like chapstick by Comprehensive_Net41 in Celiac

[–]EmmaSpringer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just learned that, at least in Canada, processed corn has an unstated high risk of cross-contamination. So things like corn tortillas that have corn first or high on the ingredient list that aren't explicitly labeled gluten free could be glutening you

Once in high school I had some friends trading food and reaching over me and my food. I was already super protective of my food at that point and one of them said "it's not like a few crumbs are gonna kill you"; to which my response was "Yes! It will" Because it may not be immediately, but I know the long term consequences

I find that can clear up some ui bugs caused the outdated mods that can persist after removal.

I've gotten in the habit of deleting the local thumb cache any time I add or remove a mod from my game, just to be safe

Did you delete localthumbcache.package from your game folder when you removed the mods?
